    I hate spoilers. Supporter

I think the Copeland comment was less about the records sounding similar as it was about having a similar feeling/reaction listening to them.

@jordalsh correct me if I'm wrong.

    I love the album.
    On listen #15 or so.

Wish there was one more upbeat song just to break the flow. Burn the witch may have been better as track 4 or 5

  4. Yeah, I think the one thing the album lacks (at times) is the energy that carried the last two. And I think that's probably an intentional decision. Everything here is subdued and gorgeous, but I do wish it had a little more pep in its step.

I've always scoffed at people who complain about bonus tracks and extra songs making an album worse; my philosophy is almost always that a band should just give us everything they can.

But I really, genuinely wish they'd just left BTW off this record and kept it as a standalone single. It's the weakest track and doesn't fit in at all. I'll be skipping it most listens.

Now I've had the chance to listen to it at least 10+ times, it's only gotten better and genuinely think it's up there with their best. The second half of Present Tense is next to the 'because we separate' part of Reckoner as like my favourite Radiohead moments. Probably best song on it

I love BTW and the placement of it doesn't bother me at all.

I think Radiohead is a band where I'll listen to every record but just never get them. We'll see if that holds true with this.

Strangely, Daydreaming might be my least favorite track on A Moon Shaped Pool. And what an amazing track that is.

i don't know if it's my favorite track or not - it probably isn't - but present tense is the one that connects with me the most emotionally

Same, genuinely can't remember having an album release which I had such a good first reaction to and is only getting better over time, and that everyone else seems to agree on. Cannot wait to look back on it in a few months or at the end of the year and put it into perspective, for better or for worse.

Really enjoying this album. With every listen I discover new things I enjoy. I told my friend that on my first listen "True Love Waits" was the song that stood out the most. I haven't deviated from the studio albums nor have I gone to any shows, so I was unaware that it was an old song, so I went into that song blind. Now after several listens, I cannot say with ease that I like any songs more than the others.

I used to listen to Radiohead frequently, but I haven't done so in a while. Sometime last week, I put on The King of Limbs and told said buddy that "I was ready for a new Radiohead album." A few days later they either announced it or I finally caught wind of it. I couldn't have been more excited to hear it. Now my affection for Radiohead has been revitalized and I can't layoff this album and their discography.

The only bummer was leaving my Mother's Day lunch before work and anticipating playing the album via Spotify, on my commute to work and while at work, to find out that it wasn't up there. I had to wait until after work to download the digital copy at home. I didn't get to listen until I watched the Sunday HBO lineup, so woe is me.

This month is going to go down as an even bigger month for me musically, with the new Thrice and Hotelier albums dropping as well. I am going to be listening to a lot of music this month.

Not a huge fan, but I quite liked Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer & Kid A when my dad used to play them. Not really followed them since. Will this make more sense if I go back a bit?
