I listened to it this morning while doing a coding project. I don't remember hearing James talk :concerned:

Maybe that's a sign I'm not in my right mind.

I was going to say the same thing. I can't even remember him speaking although I remember him being there. I think I was so overwhelmed by Feldmann's craziness that I just didn't pay attention.

Listening to him, he reminds me of two friends specifically, it's so crazy, they all talk almost exactly the same way.

Anyone notice on Billboard that Feldmann is credited as a writer on the new song? Curious why after all this time the band needs any outside help on song writing. Skiba and Hoppus catalogs run marathons around Feldmann's work in quality.

I've had that same thing happen to me recently. Do your friends sound like they just had 19 cups of coffee? haha

It could be to any degree of writing. He could have just written the pre chorus melody or something and been credited as a writer. I think a lot of it was having a middleman in there to try to make Matt and Mark's melodies/ideas sound cohesive, not so much that they needed an extra writer.

I love Blink and Trio, but I certainly wouldn't go that far.

Not sure they "need" the help.. maybe want is the more accurate way to describe it? It sounds like Feldman definitely wrote some of bored to death.

Feldmann seems to be the type of producer that takes writer/co-writer credit on a lot of stuff he's produced. I'd say ~100% of producers write on their band's albums, Feldmann just takes the credit. I'm fine with that.

I got more interested from this link as the label being "Viking Wizard Eyes", also the fact that the song is at #1 in Bubbling under 100 got me so happy.

Nailed it… you'd think they were all caffeinated but in reality just high on life. I won't lie, pretty envious of those folks.

    Things have changed.

Feldmann is heavily involved with writing on every project he does. I wouldn't be shocked if he had writing credit on every song. Not sure why you think having another mind in the room is seen as a negative.

Look at the drop off from Untitled to Neighborhoods and tell me Finn had nothing to do with helping in the writing process. Blink just completely gave up on bridges lol.

This is going to sound really selfish and entitled of me but goddammit I wish the added San Diego date wasn't before my show, now I don't get to see the first show of the tour! I had a similar thought when I was going to see the first show with Skiba and then two additional shows happened before it.

Exactly, I don;t think its bad having a hands on producer that helps you make the best album possible. That is kind of the point of using a producer.

I listened yesterday and heard Mark mention something about an EP too. They were talking about the songs that didn't make the record.

Feldman mentions something about the one song from the original demo session that almost made the album and Mark just kinda goes "Oh yeah, I forgot. That'll be on the EP." or something along those lines.

Sorry if this was already mentioned....

  20. Similar thing happened to me on the MCS farewell tour coming up this summer. I bought a ticket for the final show in Minneapolis, and then they announced a 2nd show. So I bought tickets to those too, because obviously I want to see the LAST show in Minneapolis.

And then they announced shows 3 and 4.

It's a vestige of a time when if people with writing credits weren't just the band members it wasn't cool

  22. People still have no fucking idea what co-writing means and look at it like a bad thing? :eyeroll:

I have 45 blink records. I also ordered all the variants for the new album. I have a problem.

You're right. The mention of Sorry was new, but the EP mention was done on one of the many other interviews haha.
