Finally starting Horizon tomorrow

 

With your troubles finding side quests. I would find far too many, and I was level 40 before I even start level 30 main quests.

If so, I just started it this past weekend and am in awe. Takes some elements from the Zelda series and modernizes it. Incredible game so far.

I updated Witcher 3 on the Xbox One X since the 4k patch is out today and man does it look even better/stunning. 60fps feels amazing, and the 4k mode looks even more beautiful at a solid 30fps. Now I finally have an excuse to beat Blood and Wine.

(I wish I could have it both ways, 4k/60, but the console life is for me. Still v nice.)

 

Is the frame rate still steady in the cities or are there still drops?

 

It seems to be steady. Didn’t spend a lot of time, just looked around for about 15 minutes swapping between settings. Only city I went to was the large castle area in Blood and Wine.

 

Has anybody in here played The End Is Nigh? I'm in love with it but it's obviously hard as hell, wondering if anybody has successfully beat it

 

Stoked to get the pee technique in Okami.

 

I've been doing this now and those 300XP for every location are getting me NOWHERE lmao

 

I'm not even level 30 yet TBH I've been going through the game very slowly lol

 

On the Witcher patch:

Witcher 3 was 60FPS on One X even before the patch because the base game had an unlocked framerate. However, now you can run it at 60/1080-1440, instead of 60/900-1080. It has occasional framerate dips, to around 55. The 4K mode has a LOCKED 30, no dips. At least that's what people are saying.

 

When should I play Frozen Wilds during the HZD campaign? I don't really care about spoilers unless it's like a Shyamalan level plot twist

I have off of work starting tomorrow until January 2nd. I am going to play so many video games. Maybe I can finally complete Mass Effect Andromeda.
