i haven't gone back to it in so long. i love the embers but i barely remember anything else from it. i always say that my lists are just current snapshots, and it's so hard especially in a year like this to include everything i think is good so i inevitably miss listing things i think are good albums. and i don't have time to relisten to every single thing i enjoyed this year, so i focused on the records with more replayability for me to see where they fit in. unfortunately that vagabon record was left out even though i really love the embers.

In fairness, I missed every Chicago show they played this year. This includes when they opened for Pet Symmetry and got to the venue only to find it sold out.
