Anyone know anything about this new mini series that dropped today... Wormwood?

In ‘Wormwood,’ Errol Morris finds a limit to how many layers a mystery can have

"Morris's new project is a mildly intriguing if somewhat overwrought docu-series for Netflix called "Wormwood," which takes an old and previously covered story — the CIA's connection to the 1953 death of germ-warfare scientist Frank Olson, who either jumped or was thrown from the window of a Manhattan hotel room — and tries to bring its darkest and still-uncertain elements out into the light of day."

I've been watching Wormwood. It's really good. I'm on part 4 I believe (out of 6).

When I started Dark two nights ago Netflix auto picked the English dub and I couldn't make it out of the first scene before changing it to German.

    Really good so far

Oh do you speak German/are from there? That's really cool, my girlfriend can speak it conversationally and loves her heritage, we're both really excited to watch this, but I won't be able to follow a German dub lol

    Edit

Or I suppose English subs are still a thing hah

I don’t speak it per se, but I studied abroad for 6 weeks in Berlin last year so I loved being around the language even though there was lots of English in the city. I am watching with English subs and I think it’s better to watch film/television the way it was intended to be viewed. Subs have never been too distracting to me either but I understand that’s different for others

anyone who's watched Dark, are there any big torture or excessive screaming scenes? it looks really interesting to me and I want to watch it and my girlfriend seems interested too, but she can't watch anything with screaming or torture. she walks out of the room.

I'm not done so maybe someone else can answer better. But in the first 4 eps there's deff nothing like that. I feel like maybe reddit is a better place to ask this, just because there's a higher chance someone has finished the series (I don't think anyone here has? I could be way wrong though lol)

awesome, thank you! in the trailer, there's this chair that a kid is strapped into, so I thought it was a possibility.

yeah that's the only reason I say ask someone who's seen it all. there's definitely some alluded torture I guess but it's so far just been like flashes of for instance that chair but with no real imagery with it and no complete scenes. It's definitely possible that they are leading up to that though

So, I'm 4 months late, but started Atypical last night and am really loving it. Plowed through 4 episodes in what seemed like an hour. Will likely finish tonight.

So, I’m 11 years late, but started Extras this morning and am really loving it. This show is laugh out loud funny.

Fucking Ben Stiller in the first damn episode pointing a prop gun at a child actor’s mother.

    Die rad.

was not a huge fan of Dark. My friends talked it up and I was sick in bed this past weekend so I binged watched all 10 episodes. There was just too much going on for me to stay interested. Too many generations and characters. At the end I didnt really care about any of them.
