the only people on the roster i "hate" are Michael Cole and Bray.

Maybe Steph at times (most of the time)

Definitely not, one of his earliest storylines was getting choked out by Taz and claiming that the Tazmission was an illegal hold.

Counterpoint, Rousey wins the rumble, and beats Asuka for her first loss in WWE at WM...but doesnt have the skills to carry as a legit champion (see: Goldbergs return). Thats about the only way 2018 could be worse than 2017 for the womens division.
While I understand the critiques, there's a pretty easy argument that Dean has been the most vital person in WWE the last 2.5 years, and has made every feud work in some way where others have failed.

He propped up the HHH/Roman feud, he brought Seth back, his feud with AJ worked in a way the KO/AJ and Jinder/AJ feuds havent, etc.

I think turning him heel is a terrible choice, but, it will get rid of some of the pieces that people dislike

They also set up a Rousey/Steph thing a couple of years back. I'd bet they find some way to return to that...which will mean even more Steph promo time and probably Steph wrestling again...

what's interesting to me is he and Miz work very similar styles, and Miz gets praise for being improved but Dean gets shit on because his indie/FCW work has people expecting more. in a vacuum, they're both perfectly adequate and working in a way that a long term career is sustainable 250 nights a year. Balor does more moves and entertains me half as much.

haha yes my "okayness" with Rousey comes with the caveat that they dont things like beat Asuka and ESPECIALLY steph doesn't get involved (fuck that's definitely happening)

i dont think ive ever hated Steph as much as last night. The stuff where she buries talent is bad, but its stuff like last night that shows she doesn't have a clue what she's doing.

He does enough. I think that's the best way to describe it in my opinion. Hes so good at everything else where I think he does just enough in the ring where it's fine

Miz can have a six month long feud with a guy that doesn't really feel stale. The in-ring shenanigans make up for his wrestling. I don't think he is any worse in the ring that a Bobby Roode or James Storm. He just shines in every other way to the point where the wrestling doesn't matter.

Going to Smackdown for the first time ever tonight. Not expecting a fantastic show by any means, but still excited just to be there. It should also be interesting to see Itami's 205 Live debut.

wrestler as in in-ring work? Cause in the WWE, being a good wrestler is about more than just looking good in the ring. Or does that just make him a good "sports entertainer"

I know at least for RAW, not hearing commentary for 3hrs and instead hearing the crowd makes the show infinitely better. Smackdown isnt as bad, but, still way better to be there.

Damn, Dean's undergoing triceps surgery (theoretically...): Latest update on Dean Ambrose's condition

If its bad, theres a chance he's out through WM. If its not a full-tear, still decent odds he misses the Rumble.

so raws tag division is Sheamus Cesaro and Revival. With Club and Rhyno/slater and miztourage as scrubs.

    ouch haha

Jinder couldnt get over the Miz's gimmick despite having better sidekicks than the Miz has in years, and the Miz keeps getting variations of his gimmick over to the point that even when he's gone, Bo and Curtis get matches every week.

i know that you know that this is a dumb comparison, but I just wanna say kurt is one of the greatest workers ever and it still took him over a YEAR of training before he debuted on TV

I'm down on rousey because there's nothing else they can/should/will do other than give her a rocket. there's only a handful of women on the roster that she could believably lose to (and that's assuming all of those women are positioned well enough to do so, which they aren't). then you get into the idea of a women's lesnar (puke) or some other kind of part-timer. There's also the concept of someone being pushed even harder than Asuka is now, while that push is STILL happening.

there's so many different aspects to this and I haven't even touched on the fact that she has never wrestled before. I dunno how you can look at what they've done with the women since the original nxt 3 got called up and still think "maybe they'll get it right this time"

****ALL THE TIME**** domo. all the time.
