Is it possible to set up in a Yahoo league is one question. Would you do it is another...and I say yes. Look at Ravens or particularly Jaguars D this year. They're basically an RB1 or better.

 

yea but if you have those defenses, you are likely playing them in the D/ST slot anyways

I'd rather play a guy like a Perine or a Mccaffrey (just spitballing) at flex WITH Jags/Ravens at D/ST than play Jags/Ravens at D/ST with a mediocre defense in flex, if you know what I'm saying.

 

Two round playoffs is glorious. I have them in both leagues I’m in.

Yeah, I guess I'm an idiot and was assuming the D/ST was folded into a superflex.

 

I think I’d still start Wilson. I don’t think the Dallas defense is gonna stop him much. And with Elliot back and a must win game, Dallas ain’t getting blown out meaning Wilson will still be throwing all 4 quarters.

Gamescript is more in your favor with Wilson than Bortles. Jags could easily have a commanding lead over the 49ers and Bortles will hand off to Fournette. BUT I suppose it depends how good Jimmy G is. If he keeps them close Bortles could be throwing for 4 quarters. I just don’t think the WR core of the 49ers can dominate the Jags secondary enough to keep it close.

 

I remember when I first started playing Fantasy Football in 2007 and it was common to pick individual defensive players. It was a mess.

 

I’m all in for that idea. I’m even all in for taking away the TE spot and making it another flex. If you don’t have Gronk, Kelce, Olsen, Walker, or Ertz it is basically a dumpster fire after. If you get those 5 sure start em, but I don’t need to do the Jared Cook thing every week.

Id be all for that too, I might pitch that next year. I streamed TEs last year and won the championship with CJ Fiedorwicz in my line up haha. This year I drafted Jimmy Graham early to avoid streaming and he was pretty clutch all year, up til the playoffs where he had 2 duds in a row.

 

Does anyone know if there is a way on Yahoo to give a player extra points if they hit 100 yards receiving or rushing? I really like that aspect from Draft Kings and was thinking about doing a league vote and implementing it if it passes.

Am I the only one who was surprised by how well Jameis Winston played last night? I still wouldn't have one the semi finals, but I would have had more points had I started him over Stafford.

Like he looked like an actual NFL QB that didn't make stupid mistakes.

Luckily my opponent has Brown for the third place matchup. That should help.

 

Every league I've ever done has been through Yahoo and every league I've ever done has had some sort of bonus for the 100 yard mark or the 300 yard mark passing. Commissioners can set it however they see fit. I'm guessing the common bonus point is just 1 point for those marks, but I've been in leagues where it's as high as 3 points.

 

I played with that in my first league for a few years. At least in that league though, we had return yards set at 1 point for every 15 yards. All I would do was find a defensive player who also returned kickoffs and punts. If he had a good return or two, I raked up a few points on top of what they actually did on defense.

Jamaal’s only good games were when Rodgers wasn’t playing. They focused more on the run.

I think it's good how it is. I could maybe see Crowder in over Fitz but that's honestly it. Thoughts?

I want to trust the Steelers because I've rolled with them for so long but man...5, 4, -2 and 4 points in my league the last 4 weeks. They've gone from averaging 13 points over their first 10 games to scoring 11 total in 4. I want to say they were the #3 scoring D behind JAX and BAL before they fell off.

Meanwhile the Bears are now #8 and the Steelers have fallen to #9.

Latavius Murray and Freeman at RB1&2

For Flex should I go: Martavius Bryant, Diggs, Lamar Miller, Mike Wallace or Jamaal Williams? Kind of leaning Bryant due to Brown being out. Non PPR

Also should I go Pitt or Philly for defense. I think Pitt is the easy call here, but for whatever reason Philly is ahead of Pitt in most rankings I've seen.
