light we made is one of the best albums of their scene

 

While I've grown to love their back catalog I'm not sure I would ever have gotten into this band the way I have if they didn't make LWM. Easily the best of the shoegazey/dream-poppy scene albums imo

 

Light We Made is fantastic, and I cannot understand those who would drop their support for the band after it.

Bought tickets to their NYC show after the new year once I heard the news. Will be good to see them one last time.

 

Maybe the fans from these last show will convince them not quit?

I love them too. Jon’s lyrics mixed with those classic melodies can never be replaced. Best band to come out in a long time. Damn shame. They need to do at least a full scale final tour!!!!

 

Yeah now I'm thinking they might do a small tour or something in the Spring which would be great

 

guys i'm thinking they may not "quit " after all ! You think they might be second guessing this now .
I think if there is enough pouring out of support they will continue on. At least there is hope for now.

 

Jon has made it clear that these January shows are not their final ones and that they're figuring out an actual final show later in 2018

 

In the podcast he said "one more final show" in the Spring, seems like it might be more than that now maybe

 

maybe a farewell tour ? hopefully

 

The show tonight is cancelled due to bad weather in Philly

 

I have an extra ticket for the Boston show on Sunday if anyone’s looking.
