The first Dashboard single was good the second one with Cash Cash not so much but it wasn't terrible either. Anyone heard both?

Yeah I'm still excited, this year has felt like a Dashboard Confessional song

 

What I'd like to understand better is why rap, hip-hop and genres influenced by them put so much emphasis on wealth to the point of excess

Like what is the point of having an open bottle of Henny and wearing a fur coat and 19 rings on an album cover, I don't know what message you're trying to convey

 

I'm seeing them in March so I'll definitely check out the new album once it comes out.

In all seriousness, some of my best concert experiences of my life were solo Dashboard Confessional shows.

The Starting Line opened during one of them, and Kenny stood next to me and belted every word with me. I love when other bands have fanboy moments watching bands

 

Pretty, pretty, pretty good. I haven't finalized mine yet, but 6 or 7 of these will most likely end up on my AOTY list

Unrelated, but on Warped Tour 2001 or 2002 The Starting Line were on that lineup. My cousin and I were in Burger King eating after Warped Tour, and Kenny came running in asking to use the bathroom. They told him it was customer's only since everyone was trying to use the bathroom after Warped Tour. He tried using the "please I'm in one of the bands" line on the employees and no one cared to hear it. I bought Kenny a drink, and he was able to use the bathroom. I'm sure he remembers this as well as I do. Probably why he stood next to me during Dashboard tbh

Warped Tour 2009(?) my friends and I got these lanyards from Denny’s that said “ALL ACCESS PASS” on it, and we walked right backstage without any questions. We were all like 12 and we were hanging out with some members of NoFX and 3oh!3 lol

 

I'm glad I did 20 albums i really like/love rather than 30-40 that I like

 

Fat Mike offered us beer at Warped Tour 2003 (my girlfriend at the time and myself were 16) We declined though because we were "hardcore straight edge" ugh God we were awful

 

Kid Cudi said he liked my shirt once
