Question (that has probably been brought up). In TFA Rey sees the Knights of Ren in her vision when she touches Luke's saber. The sequence shows them in the rain after what clearly looks like some sort of struggle. Is it possible that this is a look into the future? It obviously wasn't the destruction of Luke's Jedi Order. Maybe there's a time jump in between the next film and Kylo recruits the Knights or something.

I know force visions aren't reliable, given what happened with Anakin's vision of Padme's death...but it's a thought.

I've seen this twice already, and it's still an awkward, uneven movie with lots of filler.

But am I glad it exists? Oh hell yes.

It has been brought up! It’s a few(?) pages back, I think?

  4. what constitutes the filler?

Hmmm. Given that the film begins almost immediately after TFA, I suppose the scroll can be considered filler?

How was the vision about Padme unreliable?

It literally just dropped, so I am about to watch it. Can’t say if it’s a good review or not yet.

Been waiting on the RLM review. I don't always agree with them, but there criticisms are usually well thought out.

"every word of what you just said was wrong. The Rebellion is reborn today. The war is just beginning. And I will not be the last jedi"

Poor choice of words. Not unreliable, just misinterpreted by Anakin.

I'm probably remembering it wrong seeing as how I haven't watched RoTS in years

Understandable, much like Rick & Morty you have to be of a certain level of humor sophistication to really get them. Maybe one day.

  19. wait, now is this sarcasm? lol

Indeed it is. I do love RLM though.

  21. How is declaring the "movie doesn't work" any insightful though?

Like, it's perfectly okay to not enjoy the movie, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. (Just like me enjoying it isn't proof that it's a great movie.)

Ah, yes. Misinterpreted is very fitting.

If you watched the entire 46-minute video, you'd know why they think it doesn't work.

  25. my problem is with them declaring matter-of-factly that it doesn't work. it's well within their rights to have that opinion but that doesn't make it the truth.
