Definitely bortles, especially against the less than stellar SF defense.

 

The fact that Freeman had a big game bums me out because now I have to deal with the fact I could have made it to the finals had I just swapped Rodgers for Brady or Woods for Jordy or L. Murray for Jamaal Williams and won. All match-ups that I had serious conflict with heading into the weekend trying to figure out who to play.

Was hoping I wasn't going to have that hang over my head all off-season.

 

The only thing that worries me about Bortles, is if Fournette is back, they will lean heavily on the run game and he might not need to even throw 20+ times. However, I do currently have Dede Westbrook (over Sterling Shepard) in my starting lineup - so the stack could help.

 

Thinking about my losing semifinal and how Todd Gurley was gifted two gimme TDs via punt return to the 1-yard-line and reception at the 1-yard-line and Thomas had two TDs taken away including a bomb...

It frustrates me so much that I had Jacksonville’s defense and only got 10 points while my opponent had Philadelphia’s defense who got 8 points even with giving up some many points. Drives me nuts.

 

It was an ESPN watcher. Schefter mentioned him as an undercover play that morning, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Luckily the league who I’m playing him we still have one more week left and surprisingly only down 14 points.

 

I've seen a few people post about multi-week playoff matches...how does that work? I have never heard of that. Do you play the same person two weeks in a row and keep a running tab of scores?

 

Probably just that they have a quarter-final, semi-final, then championship round

 

nah, I know plenty of people that do a 2 week championship

I think it just totals your point totals from the final 2 weeks. You can still make lineup changes, etc after the first week...you aren't locked into the same lineup

 

That's whack

 

I really like that idea, actually. It gives the best team the best chance to win over a two-week period, rather than a team facing a player who has a fluke week (...Gurley) or gives a chance for studs to bounce back if they have a bad week in finals. Kind of takes the luck out of it.

Come to think of it, when I did Fantasy Baseball, one of my leagues was a two week championship as well...but I had never heard of doing it in Football.

 

I am in two leagues and one does single week, other does multi-week (2 weeks) for finals. I like both.

Does anyone think Russell Wilson’s gonna bounce back this week after that shit show on Sunday? Asking because I’m in the final game and I’ve rolled with him all season long, but I have an opportunity to grab Blake Bortles and I know he’s been on a serious roll as of late. Seahawks are in Dallas this week and the Jags are in San Fran.

What should I do in this situation?

 

Im the commish of my league and actually made a convincing argument to do away with the defense all together and add another flex spot.

i'd prefer a flex where you can play a defense if you want but can also put someone else in there if you so desire.
