Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

I saw that too! Good to see him back in the game. TBS wouldn’t be TBS without him.

Lol, I had no idea there were other examples, specifically in this music scene. That's interesting though. I had no idea.

Who here went to the holiday shows? Were the sets good? How'd the band sound?

I didn't see the set for the Friday show, but did see for the Saturday show and not any surprises whatsoever.

They really need to stop closing with MakeDamnSure.

Preach. I love that song as much as the next person, but opening a set with it or throwing it in the middle somewhere might do them some good.

i went to the Saturday show. Both The Maine and TBS were very good and entertaining. Adam sounded great as he usually does with a little rest under his belt.

set for Saturday was pretty dope. Everything Must Go and Spin were a treat. I haven't seen Spin in quite some time.

They also played their Green Day cover of "She" which was pretty cool.

and agreed, I could really go without hearing MakeDamnSure in the set all together to be honest.

Nice! I haven't seen them play EMG since 2010. I'm sure that was a treat.

Also, I saw The Maine open for them in 2011 and I thought they were okay. Nothing too special from what I remember, but not bad. Any recommendations for a good place to start in their catalog if I were to check them out?

Their newest release is the one i’d start with. Then move on to American Candy, and maybe even stop there.

If we’re talking about a TBS setlist, I can agree that MakeDamnSure could be replaced as closer once in a while, but there’s two songs in their discography I would never take out of their set and one of them is MakeDamnSure. The other is obvious as well. If there’s one song I really would love to see removed, it’s Liar.

Yeah, Liar is only cool to see live now for the solo that Nathan guy plays in the bridge. Other than that, I'm over that song.

Both "American Candy" and "Lovely Little Lonely" are absolutely fantastic.

Randomly listening to the b-sides of the self titled record, those songs literally should have been the album and not the songs that were actually on it. Minus This Is All Now, that song rules.

It’s all about the song “You were Right”. That song is so awesome. Swap out “Money” and “Since you’re gone” for that song, Semi-Automatic, You Should’ve Waited and Macky Sasser... and you have a perfect OG line-up comeback album

    i liked "Since You're Gone".

i def think "You Should Have Waited", "You Were Right" and "Mourning Sickness" were stronger tracks than Money, You Got Me, and Sad Savior though.

I would replace Faith with Mackey Sasser. It would be such a great 2nd track and it's way better than Faith. Then replace Who Are You Anyway, Money, Falling, You Got Me, and Since You're Gone with the other 5 demos. Likely needing to rearrange the order to make it flow. I like Since You're Gone and You Got Me, but if those two have to go to make room for the demos, I'm 100% okay with that.
