Where the hell is DJ Swearinger these days?

I think his problem was that he wore skates his first season. Not good.

 

I always felt like you could do much better at safety

 

He's been hanging around our program the past few weeks - he trains and lifts here during part of the offseason. Armanti Edwards has a lot to do with him coming to practices, but besides Josh Norman, DJ has donated the most money to us since I've been here.

All of our kids worship him and don't acknowledge how terrible he's been in the league so far. I have absolutely no idea what he's talking about most of the time, but he's great around the players and really gets them excited to be playing.

Considering we're either replacing Nate Washington or the corpse of Cecil Shorts in our WR corps I'm happy with pretty much anyone we could've drafted at that draft spot.

 

What's the latest on Anthony Davis coming back? Last I read he wants to play but not in SF. I'd expect Carolina to be all over that if he's reinstated and made available.

I trust B'OB to get the guy he feels will best fit his plan. If he can get the shit he did out of the offense the past two seasons with like 8 QB's playing I won't start doubting him, yet.

Seems like he wants back but definitely doesn't want to play for niners/Baalke. My guess is it's a game of chicken right now. I fully expect Davis to stay retired if he isn't traded. But if the niners don't get any good offers Baalke will definitely just let him waste away on the retirement list as well.
