What they do?

 

Debuted Adam Cole as the newest member of the Bullet Club in the middle of a title match completely unrelated to the two wrestlers involved in the match. It essentially made Cole the #1 heel in the company.

interrupted the world title match and destroyed literally everyone, the heel champion, the babyface challenger, the commentators, the camera guys, the ring crew, ect. It was reminiscent of the Nexus debut. It was classic "we're taking over" heel faction invasion type stuff.

 

So WWE should rip off the thing that ROH did that ripped off the thing that WWE did?

That ripped off the thing NJPW did that ripped off the thing that WCW did that ripped off the thing that NJPW and World Class did, that probably ripped off a thing somebody in the territories did.

That type of heel faction invasion angle is something that has happened multiple times since probably the beginning of modern pro wresting. It's classic and it always works so why not?

 

Cause they just did it like 6 years ago with the Nexus and then kinda did it again with the Shield and then did it again like a month ago just not as good in your opinion?

 

my point pretty much is that you have one American company that's doing a version of Bullet Club exactly how Bullet Club is supposed to be done as a "post-modern NWO", and you have another American company that's doing a version of Bullet Club that's just kind of a boring tweenerish trios team of southern gentlemen that currently bares almost no resemblance to the original Bullet Club yet.

Everyone that was siked about WWE signing those guys was waiting for WWE's version of Bullet Club and this just doesn't seem like Bullet Club at all so far.

Yeah WWE has done a few similar heel faction invasion angles the past 6 years but that if you're going to bring in the Bullet Club and attempt to do your own version and not do that to it's fullest extant, you might as well not put those guys together at all or make any references to the Bullet Club because that's what the BC is intended to be and is all about.

 

And there's my point. If this is all they're going to do with it then yea it's not executed that well but it seems pretty clear that whatever they're doing is still building.

 

If you look at my previous post i said "either isn't going to do or is waiting too long to do"

If they're going to do it they should have already pulled the trigger at least a week or two ago after Payback, and ROH was smart to pull their trigger first.

 

Maybe you're right.
Maybe they have a plan and it will work out well.

The majority of fans don't even know what the OG Bullet Club is, let alone the ROH angle.

 

Owens vs. Lesnar

Cena vs. Nakamura

Asuka vs. Charlotte

are all happening at a live event in Hawaii in late June, gotta think that is a network special... hmmm "Bash at the Beach" sounds pretty good.

 

Cena/Nakamura could easily tear the house down, Nakamura will bring the best out of Cena.

 

That's an incredible card.

The Bullet Club stuff doesn't seem like that big of a deal. Cole is already in the promotion and they had some holes to plug in the faction. If they wanted to keep it going, they needed something fresh pretty quickly.

THE CLUB (wut) is hardly starting. I don't think they want AJ to go from babyface to heel all that fast given him being new to the company. Making it look like a natural transition makes more sense. Not pushing Balor as a heel right now is the biggest mistake they are making.

 

Would be foolish to not make the Hawaii card a network special.

BC angle in WWE is fine, still a lot of it thats left. They're doing some long term story telling so complaining about the Bullet Club not being shot to the top right away is just dumb

 

Balor would just become a cool heel vs. a guy people actually want to hate. I just don't think they want to put people in a position to boo Styles if it ends up being Balor Club vs the babyface Styles.

 

So that Owens/Lesnar match, does Owens get demolished or does he actually put up a fight ?

 

Takes the loss but puts on a good fight, hopefully. KO is one of the few main event caliber heels, shouldn't be squashed.

But this is the WWE, KO will do somethinf supremelu cocky, take an F5 at the start of the match and get pinned for the 3 count.

 

I'm ready for that feud. Heyman v Owens on the mic will be great.

 

Cena better be eating that pin

Yeah I really, really want to see those matches

 

Honestly I don't care who wins as long the match is great.

 

Cena is gonna be putting a lot of guys over in the coming years. Probably getting that title in the Winter though.
