    Things have changed.

I am so sad we don't get another movie of Carrie. So sad. I'm sure there was an epic showdown with Ben.

the Ewok Jedi is what really pushed it for me I mean yeah theres spaceships and lasers and fucking magic but Ewok Jedi is just too unrealistic i think its time to get new writers

  5. I didn't see any response, do we know why no allies came to help at the end when they sent out a call?

That was me lol I defintiely didnt dislike her it was soley based on my expectations of what I wanted to see. I was just expecting a little more weird like she was in teh book. Think about how often Leia had an inner monologue that she had no idea what she was even saying like the floating muffin and the astrology stuff. she was always saying things that didnt initially make sense to Leia but she eventually worked it out and i loved that.

I was expecting that dynamic to show. Like she says something querky about astrology and the stars and our main characters exchange a weird glance. Idk. I get shes older but there was no hint of that at all.

Did you like the moment with her and leia at the end? I at least believed their friendship and when Holdo said something about "teaching her how to deal with loss" (totally not what she said but something like that) I imagine that was a hint at Kier which I loved

The way I interpreted it was there was no hope left in the resistance so nobody came to their aid

By the end when Luke came and hologrammed in to give Rey and crew enough time he started to inspire more hope within the group

I think that’s where Finn’s story comes in to play too. He and Rose put hope in those kids who will likely become resistance fighters themselves

I enjoyed the Casino stuff. Loved Finn and Rose together.

I still agree that’s the weakest part of the film, but it’s not as low of a low as people are making it out to be.

That subplot was great. I don’t feel like a plot has to necessarily work out for the progress of the story for it to be good.

I just want to watch all of Kylo's scenes again. His anger at seeing the Millennium Falcon was perfect.

Bit of a Battlefront II spoiler here but at the end of the new single player stuff Leia sends Inferno Squad on a "urgent mission" to go and find a group of allies located somewhere on the outer rim.
Apart from that everyone else was too scared of the First Order or lost hope in the resistance I guess?

I've heard deep space pilots talk about them though. I think they live on the moons of Iego, they're the most beautiful creatures in the universe.

would have actually been awesome to see Janina Gavankar reprise her battlefront role in movie form in some way here. But i gues at the end of battlefront we dont really know what shes up to because its like 10-15 years later

3 new missions dropped with the TLJ update that tie in with the sequel trilogy! Would love to see Janina play Iden for real though, she seems so into the character.

No, because those were terrible as well, and this one at least has Daisy Ridley.
