Songs of 2017 is going to be a lot of fun! I'm already brainstorming what songs I want to do.

 

I've got one picked and I know the other one I want to do... just need to spend a little time with the tab and make sure that tasty John Mayer solo is within my abilities.

 

Already got mine picked.

 

I've got one set up.

 

I'm already knee deep into 1 track and considering a 2nd.

Trying to get to more of these, the last 4 really stood out so i'm gonna need to listen again. Good chance work got in the way of the first group.

 

Me and my friends are planning on doing a song together for the 2017 comp. I’m gonna assume it’s obscure enough to not have a chance of being picked by others. But these drums are kicking my ass right now. Hahaha

 

Gonna take some real thinking, this year was the best in some time musically for me.

 

I really wanted to do supermarket flowers but I can't get it down good.
I know an old97s tune for sure.
Isbell deserves it but Idk if I do it justice.
At least one female pop song is in my head for consideration.

 

if we make the due date like January 20 or something, that'd be rad.

 

I want to try to figure out a bluesy arrangement for glassjaw, so more time is good with me.

 

I'm going to do my best to hop back in for this one, life has been crazy busy but I miss the hell out of participating in the comps.

 

Sorry to be annoying and advertise myself... but if any of you liked the two songs I submitted on the last originals comp (Master Blast and October Baby), there's three more songs here. We posted this EP to try and raise funds to finish an LP. If you buy the EP, I will email you the LP when it is finished if the goal is met. Thanks I don't know if this will work out (we need 400 people to buy this to meet the bare minimum we need)... But I figured I'd give it a final try.

Edit: if nothing else, you can stream it. These aren't produced or recorded the best, but I am still really proud of the songs themselves.
