Is Jon going to do that hip hop thing he did a few months? That would be a real waste I think.

So happy I was able to see B&C 5 times, including at the first show during college I ever attended. Watching them go from a still crowd (PBC Headliner in Fall 2011) to a raucous crowd (La Dispute, Circa tours in 2012) to a sold out headliner (Jealous Sound, Daylight/Superheaven Winter 2013) was such a unique and cool evolution to watch. Kind of randomly caught them on a C market tour when I was in New Hampshire last year as well and all the nostalgia came flooding back. Used to throw on Quake before heading out to my classes for the day in fall 2011. Gonna rip some songs off Separation now.

I didn't get their early enough to see them on this run.
Thought them and Chon were switched. Major Bummer.

So glad I saw them headline in May. Really bummed about the breakup.

Though I feel they’re definitely going out on a high note with LWM, and Slow Heart.

Someone has to know the real reason they breaking up? Sounds like Jon didn’t want it to happen!!!this is worst news ever! If the 2 members who didn’t come on the last tour don’t want to be a band, why don’t they just get 2 new guys!!! I’m so upset over this

I’ve been listening to Balance since Separation. I’m definitely bummed to see them go, but I agree that they’re going out on a high note. I never got to see them headline, unfortunately, but I did see them 3 times as an opening act, and it was always fun to catch them. I’ll definitely be hoping that, at some point in the future, the stars will align for them to come back. If not, they had a good run.

Them almost dying in a van accident I think is what really did it for them all. It's tough being on the road. I know Jon has said multiple times he's not big on touring. I believe he was on Strange Nerve podcast before and mentioned the story of the accident and said none of them have really wanted to tour since then. It has to be bittersweet being out there anyway, but with that in the back of your mind it's gotta be tough.

Very excited for the Boston show. It’ll be good seeing them headline one last time.

Sure. Won't change my opinion on what I believe to be better.

Fair is fair but the word waste struck me in your post as being selfish. I'd prefer an artist do what they want and me not like than the contrary. Not like there's a shortage of good music out there anyway so if Jon wants to do his thing and you or I or anyone doesnt like it, there's other stuff out there and he's happy doing his thing.

Yeah I dunno about all that...idk Wicca Phase has sorta grown on me (from fucking HATING it to eh its okay) so I'll give it a chance.

I still can't quite comprehend how Wicca Phase is supposed to be enjoyed unironcially but both the Coward singles grew on me so I will check it out (I mostly rewound Jon's verses though)

    But better instrumentals

The best Wicca Phase songs are the ones where it's just Adam and his guitar, no half baked slow paced bars necessary. Idk how many of them they're but Life After Death (Stress Beyond Stress) is a good one.

I think this is a bad decision and it seems Jon does too? I don’t think he wants this band to end. Do you think they might change their mind??
