I think I've heard probably the whole record live by now since I see them so frequently but they're all really good

Definitely a slight change of sound. Slowed down a bit

i saw them way back in i think 2015 when they had some very small shows in California. they played a show at a small club in Oakland to maybe 6 people (myself included)

 

i finally saw them for the first time in 2015. i say finally because i remember when their very first EP came out (which isn't even online anymore) and I wrote about it, haha. think it was like 2010ish. love those peeps

 

i still got Bull Moose Party and Mr Saturn EP's in my iTunes, hahah.

first discovered them through those EP's on AbsolutePunk's Free Music Fridays.

 

EXACTLY! oh FMF hahaha. yeah, mr saturn was their first. i actually have a very early version of mother from like, two years before the album came out, hah. and i actually had an acoustic version of mr saturn on a comp i put out. so so long ago, wow.

Yeah, I mean I’m still excited for this but ‘restraint’ is definitely becoming a trend that’s threatening to wear out its welcome. I don’t want to have to go to party-emo to get my fill of yelling over loud guitars, haha.
