Atleast you got to make it to the show. The show is was mettered most. Good to hear it was good. I cannot wait for this album. Fingers crossed for a vinyl preorder soon.

 

Love his explanation of the album title in this. Also perhaps the first time I've ever really seen him directly refer to his marriage.

I don't know what a Cash Cash is, so I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Yes, right after "Heart.Beat.Here."

 

The song is very different for him. I'll take it for what it is because its actually refreshing and might work in the middle of the album, but I'm hoping the rest of album is more along the lines of We Fight and Heart Beat Here.

whoa, wait what?? I thought this was like, a Cash Cash song featuring Chris. Maybe the album version is Cash Cash-less? So confused

 

I could hear this song as a traditional rock dashboard song but who would release the alternate version first?

 

True but when I was younger I used to rip off the melody and chord progression of "Where There's Gold..." all the time. So that album does have some important meaning to the world.

I actually love this song. Both singles are great and at this point I could care less what the rest of the record sounds like cause I'm super excited

 

i've heard places and a mark but never really gotten into any other dashboard records, so i checked out dusk and summer today and whoa what an album. what is even going on with "slow decay"

 

My favorite DC album.

 

To be fair, "Where There's Gold" is a definite jam. That, the title track, and "The Widow's Peak" are the songs from that record I always liked.

That song makes no sense on that album thematically, but I still kind of love it.

 

I always liked Shade. I just looked for it on his Spotify and it's not there though? Did he remove it?
