If you want to draft Russell Wilson you'll have to draft him once as a RB and then again as a QB

Cozart to the Angels would be really cool. I'd love for the White Sox to get Machado and then flip him to BOS/NYY for a big haul, if BAL doesn't want to trade within the division.

I'm so ready for baseball to be back. So many fun teams to watch and there's still moves to be made to up the excitement.

How many people here play fantasy? Is Yahoo really popular for fantasy? Last year was my first year playing and the group I joined does ESPN.

I don't think I am sold on Cozart. He's 32 with one good season under his belt.

I hate that teams won't trade within the division. Its so silly.

I love fantasy baseball. I usually play on ESPN. I am a LM of a regular roto league and a SABR style league. Real fun. Both of them.

I'm keen on Cozart if the ball stays juiced. Maybe Votto taught him well and he'll maintain his walk rate. Cozart and Simmons on the left side of the infield would be defensive magic. Plus Kinsler at second. That's a really good defensive infield.

I don't know how to properly describe the league I was in last year, but it was on ESPN, 10 teams, H2H points league. I'm never sure how standard scoring systems are, but +5 points for a pitcher win or save was annoying. I ended up winning the league and got $600, so that was nice.

Those leagues are the worst. The only points based leagues I like are the ones based off FIP and wRC+. The arbitrary point system set up by ESPN is gross.

I was gonna set one up through ESPN this year (never done fantasy baseball), how much flexibility does it actually have? I wanted to take a look at the settings and see what's addable/changeable but didn't get a chance haha

Angelos didn't get along with Steinbrenner and as far as I'm concerned baseball is too friendly. I don't mind a good baseball grudge one bit tbh lol

Its actually pretty decent. This is how I set up my league. Its a Roto SABR style league.

And we are currently at 8 teams in that league. We would love to add more. I just never found people interested in that style.

    Its a dyansty auction league.

Grudges and rivalries are fine, but it will just never sit well thinking that teams will turn away the best deal possible because its a rival. Its cutting off your nose to spite your face, imo.

I've wanted to play those, but I couldn't ever decide between that and Baseball Mogul. So I just stuck with MLB The Show.

MLB The Show is the best, but I quick sold all my DD players to fund some RTTS shenanigans, though now I'm burnt out on that. The franchise mode is too lacking for me, so I turn to OOTP to get the in depth experience I need of running a team.

I miss playing DD a lot though

  18. The Show's version of DD is the best one in any of those games by far. The only one you can do reasonably well with reasonable hours without spending money. Also love OOTP but I think I'm cursed to always lose in the division series in that game. So many 100 win teams losing in the division series.

Yeah. From what it sounds like Cards and White Sox have the best offers. It is a bit much that they might not want to trade to Chi since they could flip to NY lol. That's maybe worrying too much haha

I started a new game as the GM of the Dodgers the other day because I'm still new to OOTP and wanted to get my feet wet with a stacked team & high payroll but without the emotional attachment to the Cubs. In the first season, we won 107 games but finished second in the division because the Diamondbacks decided to win 111 games. Lost the wild card to the Mets because Seager, Turner and Bellinger committed 5 errors combined in the first three innings of the game.

    Infuriating tbh
