I Have a seat for tonight at Cinemark, it says D-Box Real 3D which cost me about $25 so I hope the experience is worth it and not overkill. Anybody ever sat in one of those?

 

Saw Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2 in D box 3D. It was awesome.

 

Sweet! LOL I refunded my ticket for XD tomorrow afternoon and upgraded to this cause I just can’t wait that long any more. I’m gonna get so high beforehand haha

 

Not TLJ spoilers obviously I read something the other day that JJ publicly acknowledged that he borked Leias reaction to Rey and Chewie. Idk what that all means. Alot of fans were talking about it. You could probably glean a better understanding from finding that.

 

Not exactly the primary place to post it, but Disney has officially purchased 20th century fox.

 

interesting, so perhaps the entire scene itself was misleading and not intended to be taken the way it was shown.

It is just insane to me that people aren't buying tickets to this fan event. I figured people would pay the extra to see it earlier than other people just in and of itself. Let alone, they get a drink, popcorn, collectibles, etc.

 

is it not doing well? i personally didn't buy it because I can't leave work early enough, but, it's also an AMC thing. My local AMC is awwwwwful. It's one of the dirtiest, shittiest theaters in the area with no upkeep what so ever. I saw TFA there opening night in 2015 and the only speakers that worked were the two right at the front of the theater.

 

Not sure if this was mentioned here or has since been rectified (because I refuse to find out myself), but apparently big spoilers have been popping up on the front page of Reddit today, so be careful.

 

Stay off Reddit, please. I've seen it, so I was around there today, and literally all of the big plot points kept popping up. Stay away.

Yeah, and just to keep the warnings coming, a friend of mine mentioned he got spoiled on GameFAQs this morning.

I'm really only checking social media for notifications at this point (outside of posting/lurking here and Resetera) but feeling I might weed those out, too.

Plus I know I have FB friends who post weirdly vague spoilers (like someone who posted "I guess Greedo shot first after all" on release night of TFA) and worse ones who post outright spoilers (like "WOW!! I can't believe "character X" in "movie Y" died!!! WOW!!!")

I just don't understand how people can do that. Then again, I feel like my biggest concern right now is actually getting into the theater without someone loudly talking about it outside. I worry a lot. :x

 

hahah yeah I feel like the most dangerous place to be today is actually IN the movie theater. gonna earmuffs my entire walk through the lobby haha

 

No specific spoilers, but just in case...

The more this sits with me the more I'm kind of annoyed that a lot of the major plot points ended up being a tease in a way. It's almost like with this, a lot of happened, but also not much really happened.

what trailers have people been seeing ahead of this? will we get the jurassic world trailer on the big screen? assuming avengers will be included.

 

Yeah, I run a Regal. It only has 39 tickets sold as opposed to our 7pm show which has 380 tickets sold.

 

2D: Tomb Raider, Early Man, Alpha, A Quiet Place, Jurassic World, The Greatest Showman, Wrinkle In Time, Infinity War

3D: Same thing but with Incredibles 2
