I'd never been into hockey until I went to college and made good friends with a dude on the hockey team. I don't follow NHL or anything but I definitely enjoy the sport when I get a chance to watch it.

there's probably a few here in Austin, but I grew up in El Paso and we had some Dleague hockey team that sucked but there were no places to play hockey, they don't offer it in schools and nobody knew how to skate. it's also an extremely expensive sport to play with all the gear and equipment and I grew up poor so even if I did want to play there's no way I could have. I was barely able to play baseball on a team. played football and basketball with family. I'm sure you guys don't like rodeos or hog tying. (neither do I but that's the kind of stuff that happens here)

I mentioned them today. High & Low fest live stream on chorus thanks to @Mary V while @Bloodsucker II & @ComedownMachine attended. That whole day i still remember very vividly like i was there with you guys.

and how many times did the stars have to merge with other teams for financial reasons, or move because of poor attendance? it just wasn't a thing that people grew up with in TX. TX is about football, especially in the 90s when the cowboys were winning superbowls every year practically. I wonder who they beat in those years??........
