One of the things that drives me the most nuts, and even more after last night, Dwight has been in a room with Negan many times, just fucking shoot him if you're committed to team Rick. After tonight, when he finally shot and killed many of his own people, just drove home that he's willing to do it.

I didn't watch the past two, but that was the big spoiler leaked earlier in the season so i'm not surprised either. I've also learned not to get excited about it, cause for every boring character that dies, 2 more pop up.

Also, what was the flash forward scene all about in the first episode of Season 8? Where Rick, Michonne (I thought Carl was in it) and the daughter were getting ready for the festival or something. They were definitely still in Alexandria, weren't they?

Did they just disregard that? They showed it like 3 or 4 different times in the premiere and never went back to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eugene gets the doctor from the Sanctuary back and somehow heals Carl.

 

I think Carl was in that scene. My assumption is that the 2nd part of the sequence will play out, and it will be Rick dreaming about what the future could have been, or something like that.

 

It did seem sort of 'dream-like' but I thought I remember reading that the festival is when the whisperers attack in the comics, so I assumed it was a foreshadow to that.

 

I guess nothing would surprise me with these shit writers, but both Gimple and Chandlerhave confirmed that he's done.
