wasn't it confirmed that the outro thing is from another artist all together?

 

The packaging seems to indicate a remaster, i wouldn't doubt it that it's a little different from the video since we got a new version of Slide on Me earlier this year.

The outro is Device Control by Wolfgang Tillmans

 

Got the CD/DVD, I'm gonna love having that DVD to throw on in the background

 

Got vinyl + cd/dvd. I am debating getting the VHS lmao

 

Couldn’t bring myself to fork up the $41 for the vinyl. :\ Oh well.

 

Picked up Endless Vinyl and he just announced album 5 is done :D what a day

 

Can’t wait to hear it in 2020

Honestly I wouldn’t look too much into that post. He’s a perfectionist so while he may have finished a version of it, it probably won’t be the album we end up hearing and it probably won’t be anytime soon

 

Picked up a nostalgia, ultra bootleg today and I’m very curious to see how it sounds. The only other bootleg I own is TLOP and that has a track on it twice so I’m hoping this one is better.

 

I don't see a new album coming until 2019 at the earliest. I don't think he'll disappear again like he did between CO and Blonde though, we'll probably get loosies and features

 

He did say we had something to look forward to next year, could probably just mean another season of Blonded Radio / some more one-offs, but with him saying the next album is done I think all bets are off and we could get a new album at any point and it will be somewhat spontaneously.

I can’t remember the last time a musical passage grabbed my body and soul the way the last minute or so of that track does. My god. Makes me fucking weep

 

yeah man, as soon as the layered vocals kick in...shit

 

"Self Control" is an all time favorite song of mine at this point. I've learned it on piano and guitar, I constantly find myself noodling with the chords. Everything about it is great, lyrics, melody too. Just masterful songwriting.

 

Great as this record is, Self Control and Solo stand out to me as being obviously a cut above everything else on here. I’d say on any given day either one could be my favorite song of his, with Crack Rock also being a contender.

 

But but Nights!

 

Nights is up there too but just a notch below those two
