I think he is a really good coach. He took over Köln 4 years ago in the 2. Bundesliga after they had years of constantly bouncing between Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga and sacking coaches left and right. He managed to promote them in his first year and steadily improving them until they clinched Europa League this summer. If given some time I think he can do great things. However he has no experience with coaching a top team and it might take some time till he gets results. And Dortmund only gave him a contract for the rest of the season for now, which shows that they dont really have trust in him being a long term solution. I guess they still hope to get Nagelsmann in the summer or another top coach that might be available then. But I can also see them extending with Stöger if the team shows enough progress and they finish top 4.

Calvert-Lewin was clever by reducing his speed and Lovren fell for it and rushed into the player even shoving him a little afterwards. Very stupid by the defender but that is a penalty for me and I have seen similar being called regularly.

 

Fair enough. I think its harsh and Liverpool could feel aggrieved.

It is kinda harsh especially if you are a Liverpool supporter (I know you are not) but they only have to blame themselves. They had enough chances to seal the win.
