this album is facking good

 

Yeah I’m definitely a fan of this band now. Never realized how consistently solid they were. This album rules, and I’m digging into the old stuff as well.

 

Tbh I feel like these guys have been underrated among post-hardcore fans for a while compared to other bands from the era. They strike a balance between hooky, more mainstream-friendly tracks and heavier moments SO nicely!

 

I've listened to nothing else since last week, and I doubt I will any time soon.

 

This thing is a total mid-'00s throwback in the best way possible.

Praying for Rain - Reading the notes I know what they were going for, but I still think the spoken word part and the song being too all over the place keeps it from going higher but I like the ending jam a lot.

Can Anyone Hear Me is right up there for me.

 

Does anyone know how to fix the order of songs on your iphone. I bought the three singles and just now "completed my album" but now the three singles are all at the end of the cd instead of where they are supposed to be.

 

Can you just delete the singles you purchased and then go back and add the full album?

 

Vocals and production on this album are really well done. Songwriting doesn’t fit my taste well but it’s still a pretty cool record and I’ll be coming back to it... may sneak into my top 15

 

This is more Page Avenue and I was hoping for more Black Swan. Still good though.

 

What would you say black swan is like?

 

More of their heavier sound and it all felt tied together rather than just being a bunch of songs that are pretty good

 

The last track sounds like thrice era vhiessu in the best way (without the harmonic minor)

I have listened to almost nothing else but Wolves this past week(and multiple times each day.)


Still not tired of it

 

So I had a fun idea that I decided to try, the idea was to take a line or 2 from each song on Wolves that I really like and put them together to make lyrics to a song. Here is what i came up with:
