I know a lot of people posted or referred to this speech when this all came out last month, but this is the first time I watched it since I saw it back when it was originally posted in 2015 and it's crazy that as a guy is telling an audience what a piece of shit he is/was the fans just go crazy, screaming and applauding.

True, but nobody knew the extent of it then. For all we knew back then, he was just talking about arguments or something, not what's come to light recently. I certainly wouldn't shout crap like the people in the video, but that was definitely an admirable moment for me.

Yeah showing support when he just says he's difficult isn't that big a deal for me. Sure it seems horrible in hindsight.

 

Yeah, I know. But it goes back to a post I made somewhere on here since this all came out, about putting all these celebrities, musicians, athletes on pedestals and worshiping any words that come from their mouths. As if everything they say is just so important - regardless of what they're actually saying. I mean, he's literally just saying what a piece of shit he's been in his life and people are eating it up...just, like, because he's talking.

I obviously understand that no one in that audience should have thought 'oh man, he must be confessing to grooming children' but at the same time it's just a weird concept to go crazy just because someone is talking, especially if they were listening to what he was saying.

 

Yeah, I get it. It's just a weird quirk in our society, which was the original point I was trying to make. I personally don't do it, but that's just me.

 

As someone who was at this show, that's not really the vibe the crowd was giving.

 

I mean, watch that video. There are definitely people giving that vibe. Not saying it was 100% of the crowd, but it's extremely noticeable.

 

I thought it was the more obvious of Papa Roach references in here.

You're most likely right. You go down a wormhole on the interwebz and it puts you in a dark place.

 

Bowie had literally died a week or two before she was born, it's not that weird he named her that.

 

I think at least, article says January 19th and he died the 10th of that month.
