    That’s awesome news. So glad they achieved success with this album. Did Neighborhoods go gold?

    Seriously doubtful. It was like 350k when Cali came out?

    Yeah it's so awesome for him. Thought the other day about how crazy it was they came back this strong. Seriously thought they wouldn't play bigger than like a midsize arena without Tom. To have a number one album, that summer tour that was 20k+ some dates, and a gold record which is definitely an achievement for rock now, really awesome.

    Just goes to show you just how much bigger the blink-182 name is vs. any one individual member. But yeah it's definitely great for the band after basically 11ish years of non-sense and chaos behind the scenes. Say what you will about California or Feldmann or whatever but the album did exactly what the band wanted it to which was to get them back in the mainstream and popular again.

    With that being said it's time for them to get back into the studio, with a different producer, and challenge themselves and give us something new and different this time around.

    But this is great for the band, hope they’ll be around for years to come.

    Shortly before the deluxe one of the magazines had Mark rank the blink albums from favorite to least favorite. Neighborhoods was last and Mark said;

    “I forgot this one existed so it kind of has to go last, Doesn’t it? I still like some of the songs we did on there but it is my least favorite”

    Or something similar

    That album feels so disjointed when I go back and listen now, I would rank it last as well.
    Probably alot of painful memories associated with it for Mark and Travis.

    haha that's amazing but not surprising at all. He's right, it has some decent songs, but by the time it came out, it felt like they just wanted to be done with it. I can see with all of the other albums, they have these memories associated with being in the studio to crank out a record, but Neighborhoods was just a drawn out two years of pushing back the deadlines.

    Yeah I was just going to say it took them 2 years to make that album and the better songs, in my opinion, came about in the last month or so they worked on it and shockingly all 3 worked on them together.

    The thing that bothers me is if the tracks they made together at the end were the best why the fuck didn’t they just scrap the other songs and record the rest of it together? So dumb
