I don't like how I had to order the ABMTTS clear/black smoke 2xLP from a seller in LITERAL CANADA to get it from somewhere that didn't charge through the nose for shipping. Those international postage rates on the band's store... yiiiiikes. Shipped today tho :3

 

It only cost $3 to ship my crewneck which is pretty much the lowest shipping cost I've ever seen for clothing

 

Not seeing this on too many end of the year lists. Idk I really expected this one to grow with critics as the year went on, also it seems to be growing in popularity, a lot of people know about this album that I would never expect to listen to a band like Manchester.

 

This dropped off for me as the year went on. Still some great tracks, but just didn’t have the staying power I had hoped for

 

The Gold is my second most played song on Spotify this year.

 

Same. Surprisingly Creepers 'Black Rain' is my #1

 

Sadly this one hasn't stuck with me like I thought it would. I played it non-stop the first few weeks after the release but have only come back to it a handful of times since. Still would consider it in my top 5ish for the year though.

 

I definitely thought this would make some industry lists. Kind of shocking to me

Yeah this is a great album and all, but it didn't really have any staying power for me.

 

I haven't listened to this in a while, been too obsessed with Wolf Alice lol. Up to The Grocery now, still a beautiful, dynamic album! Somewhere in my top 10

 

i dont really know how to explain this, but it feels like a band like Manchester Orchestra isnt "cool enough" or something to be included on a lot of publications. its like how Brand New was ignored / written off by Pitchfork forever then near the end of their career they randomly started covering them and giving them BNM and stuff, which was great timing on their part because we all know how that turned out

 

Let’s acknowledge something good a band does for a change.

 

This is like #3 or #4 for me

It's a tight race for me between seven records, but gun to my head this is #1.

Yup definitely one of my favorite things I did this summer. Still have my stupid little poster with the back of the album art haha. Good thing I didn't spill pizza grease on it.
