I’m just saying, regardless of this assignment or class, it doesn’t mean have to give up on the big picture goals. I’m sure I’m not going to pass like two of my classes, but I can retake them eventually, it just means I’ll graduate one semester later. That’s not optimal, but think about all the time and stress and tears that have gone into this bullshit. Might as well make it count in the long run

 

Hey, I know I'm a dude on the internet, but don't let one semester be how you determine the rest of your academic career. There's nothing wrong with retail, obviously, but I'm guessing from the way you phrased it and that you're worried about this that it isn't what you wanna do. All that being said, I know a lot of us on this thread would benefit from better time management decisions but you seem to work really hard. Missing a deadline doesn't mean you aren't putting in the work, and you clearly go above and beyond to continue to be communicative with professors so I would encourage you to not entertain the idea of throwing in the towel. You're definitely capable of doing this. Good luck.

a&p is a short story that most people have to read in comp 2.

I don't mean to rain on your elation or anything and I'm glad I could provide that light for you lol but I didn't have any "real" finals. I had 2 final projects for my online classes and then a final presentation for ASL that I did today. so YES Now I'm officially done done!!

Also, for my comp 2 project (the twitter one) the professor was so impressed! she asked if she could keep it as a sample for future semesters so that felt pretty good!

also I got an 86 on my ASL presentation which was soo nerve wracking bc there was 2 additional deaf people there to help grade in addition to our professor so there was a lot of pressure!

 

FUCK. I had one of the classes I’m doing poorly in tonight and there was a fucking assignment due that was worth 15% of our grade and didn’t have it. I didn’t even realize it was a thing. She said I can turn it in but there will be a penalty. Pretty sure I’m taking an L in this class. It sucks cause it’s not a hard class at all, it’s the easiest class all semester but I just have been neglecting the work.

Okay so tomorrow I have class from 10-12 and then the rest of the day is free.

Agenda

- Finish annotated bibliography that was due on Monday
- Complete electronic note cards that are due tomorrow at 11:55 PM
- Complete assignment that I missed today in my American Studies class and hope for the best
- Write English paper that is due on Thursday
- Do standard homework for other classes
- KMS

 

Also, I need to stay the fuck off this site tomorrow and I’ll prpabbly leave my phone at home

after i do the revision for the short story i have 16 stories to peer review/annotate, and another short writing assignment to do besides that, so i might join you on the last bit. i haven't had decent sleep in days now.

SAME AS FUCK i clearly can't be trusted to just not procrastinate via these forums so for the next two days (if i can resist) i gotta try and log off..............

 

Well I was gonna say no cause I just wasted literally all my time at the school library and I currently don’t have internet at my house, but I just realized there is a place at school open until 7am lol, so I’m gonna try and get started on at least one thing.

yeah i mean luckily it's flash fiction, so most of it is in the vicinity of 500-700 words? but we've got some people who don't know what flash fiction is, apparently so. yep, it's currently 3:04 am. the world is quiet here

 

I think I’ll be stayin up late with ya. The issue is that tomorrow is gonna suuuuuuuck.

Literally my least favorite part about writing a paper is doing the bibliography and citations. I always get this shit wrong and it is unnecessarily confusing imo. That’s why this crap has been taking so fuckin long.

 

Handed in a paper a day late this week but it was my last thing before finals, which should be relatively easy. Good semester overall

i'm allowing myself ten minutes before i cut myself off from this til after my finals today

 

My professor is suppose to have office hours from 12:30-1:45 today, so I got there around 12:30 and she was already leaving. And another professor told me she just left for the day (I went in Monday and she also left early as well). So I emailed her Monday but she never answered (she doesn't answer anyone's emails) so I just emailed her again (not that it matters since she isn't going to answer). This is getting ridiculous.

 

it's honestly comical how much work i have to do the next two weeks. i had no idea one of my English finals was next wednesday

 

why do people suck lol. Sorry bud, that's awful, and very unfair to her students. What do you need to request?

I'm pretty sure i'm failing (she doesn't post our grades so there is no way to know) so I want to know what I need to get on the final to pass and maybe see if she can boost my grade a little. It's the end of the semester so I wouldn't expect her to really do anything but I still want to know what my grade is right now

 

Finished annotated bib and the assignment I missed. Time to work on the electronic note cards cause that's due tonight and then the English paper. Thankfully, the paper is only supposed to be two pages, but it's gonna be two pages of bullshit cause it's material I don't give a flying fuck about.
