That's unfortunate. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I'm guessing it's his drum tech then.

I left this CD in my mum's car a few weeks ago and she hasn't taken it out yet. She loves it. "If I Believe You" is her favorite.

My mom doesn't listen to my music. It's a bummer.

my mum thinks I listen to too much depressing american music, haha. Every now and then I get her into something though. She generally just listens to 90's R&B and trip hop.

Blows about George's arm. Going to the show tonight in Austin. Just glad they didn't cancel.

it was great! I was in pit as well. The whole production of the show is amazing. I must admit that I a bit bitter about them taking ballad of the set list because of lack of George because I was easily the most excited to see how it translated live and i love the song. Other then that, it was amazing. Venues was a bit out there though.

Really hope their setlist for Philly on Sunday is this one they did two nights ago. It looks like The Ballad Of Me And My Brain and Paris have been in and out of their setlists since the U.S. portion of the tour. I don't know if the absence of George is why Ballad has been dropped lately, but losing that song for Paris is a fair trade for me. That setlist is my favorite one I've seen yet since they've come to the U.S. on this tour.

Regardless, I'm really really excited for the Philly date in five days. I'm really looking forward to seeing their stage setup in an outdoor setting. The Mann Center has become one of my favorite venues in Philly just because of the setting and the atmosphere to it. There's such a nice view of the city from it.

Really excited for the new songs, particularly Somebody Else, If I Believe You, The Sound, and Paris if that makes it in. In all fairness, I love just about all the new songs they're playing on this tour. Only ones I don't love but do enjoy are She's American and Loving Someone.

Seen them multiple times and I thought this was their worst performance. Matty didn't seem too into it and seemed depressed the whole time and not the frontman he usually is. Maybe that was just me. The crowd was questionable. Definitely expected more dancing. The venue felt like an odd pick. Seemed too big for them even though they've sold out Stubbs and Austin Music Hall. And yeah, the exclusion of Ballad AND Paris was a bummer.

I couldn't see the stage too well myself (i'm 5'4 so pit or standing can be a task for me sometimes) and admittedly a little drunk so maybe my perspective of the show is a bit different. I think I danced the whole time and i didn't really pay attention to the rest of the crowd so i didn't take note really what was happening around me. Maybe Matty seemed more down because of no George there. He seemed to project the same amount of charisma when I saw them last in Dallas in 2014.

You already have tickets? Or know anyone that would be interested in buying a pair slightly below face value?

"Loving Someone" might've been the highlight of my show (first night of the tour in LA). It was just massive and hit perfectly at the midpoint between the upbeat and down-tempo songs they played. Matty also seemed really, really into it.

EDIT: This made me want to go find a live video and damn, the live drums when that second chorus kicks in are so good.

My friend and I have our tickets already. Idk anyone else who is trying to go. I'm trying to convince my sister to come along but she's been sick lately. Hope you can find a way to sell those tickets. Sorry I can't be of any help

Maybe seeing it live will turn me onto the song more then. It's in my bottom five as far as my preferences on the album go, but, with that being said, it's still a damn good song. I love when the live drums come in on the record so I can only imagine it'll be big seeing it live.

Honestly I've just had such a wealth of new music to listen to I just haven't had time to get back into this, but I still love it.

I like it a lot, but I think I would've listened to it more if it were released in the Fall. The Summer is for albums like the new Weezer record, or how imagine the new Butch Walker record is gonna sound.
