I hated 808s when it came out. I finally got into it around the time TLOP came out, but I haven't really been back to it since then

I’ll never understand why he took Vic/Sia off Wolves, and put in that corny verse. He ruined an amazing track, and beat.

The worst parts of Ye’s personality are on full display on Pablo with less of the self deprecation and introspection, instead focusing his attention on the external factors around him and elevating and insulating himself. On some songs it’s brilliant and as good as Ye ever has been, on others it’s grating and tied to real-life things he did that were horrific and shitty. It’s hard for me to enjoy the record purely because of all that, even as much as I enjoy MBDTF or Yeezus, which also put his most abrasive and problematic traits at the forefront at times, but felt like much more earnest or conflicted portraits.

someone came into my work right now wearing yeezys while I was at lunch.

A co-worker told me and I legit dropped my food and ran to the floor just to look at them. They were amazing.

 

Were they real tho?

 

for the most part yeah they looked good. He let me check them out.

 

Was thinking about getting my wife some Yeezys. Are they hard to get?

 

Extremely, yeah. I think you can find a real pair on eBay for like $400

 

I work with kids in school and one of them came to our session wearing Yeezy’s. He’s 11. I’ve never felt so shown up in my life

 

Apparently there were somewhere around 400k pairs of the latest Yeezys for sale. I was able to purchase none of them.
That shit is b-a-n-a-n-a-s. The sneaker market is so insane and so infuriating and I'll probably never fully understand it.
I just want some new kicks without paying resale.

 

I think it was around 80k for the US and I can’t remember the EU numbers.

but also same I might have to do re-sAle.

 

Yeah I guess it was about 89k for the US and 89k for Europe just on adidas.com, then however many for footsites and B&M retailers, etc. IDK where I saw 400k but even half that seems like a ridiculous number.
I've almost given up on the local and online raffles.
I probably don't need to be buying $220 shoes anyhow.

 

I bought 98%ers on eBay and unless you’re a crazy sneaker head you can’t tell the difference and they were like $75 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

It's because limited sneakers aren't a product, they're a marketing tool

 

There is no reason to buy the real ones unless you're a collector, and even then, there's no reason.

Why spend so much on shoes that you have to be weary about wearing them for fear of dirtying them or getting mugged?

 

I mean if your a serious collector there's money to be made theoretically
