Good to see Drab Majesty on the GVB list, that record got slept on hard. I like everything I’ve heard on that list, and need to hear the new Yaeji

That Superorganism track is so dope. I heard it somewhere while drunk and have no idea where so I'm happy that Fader let me find it again.

i hear it on the radio on XMU all the time, it's catchy but i still can't figure out if i actually like it or not.

 

It's so cool that the Fader put a Yves Tumor track on their list.

Three acts I've always felt like I would like based on my own taste but have never been able to get into -- War on Drugs, Dirty Projectors, and LCD Soundsystem -- released albums this year that are popping up on a lot of lists. Especially the LCD album, which I've listened to a decent amount and it just hasn't grabbed me.

Disagree with a lot of those song choices. Solid artist choices pretty much for every spot tbh.

 

I've heard 4/100 on the Quietus list. Sounds about right for me. Haha

 

I've heard a few from Quietus but almost all of them were from their mid-year list haha

 

Quietus list reminded me that I need to listen to that Chastity Belt record. Shazamed one of the tracks when I was playing pool the other day and loved it. I've only heard like 15-20 from the list, but I highly back Laurel Halo, Jlin, Arca, Vince, Bjork, Mhysa, Kelela, Fever Ray, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. Still need to go back to those J Hus and Stormzy records.

 

Is the whole Paramore album as good as Hard Times? I really did not like their last album. I had no desire to listen to this one but heard that track from the fader list and kind of loved it.
