It's really hard to say which was the best of the year since most PPV's have like 2-3 good matches tops. As someone who was at WM, it was def not the best. It was a labor.

 

Overall I feel it had a lot of great matches besides the main event which puts a damper on it. AJ/Shane, Jericho/Owens regardless of what Vince thinks, 4 Way Ladder Match, Seth/HHH, and Brock/Goldberg wasn't bad for the amount of time.

 

And yes I'm just talking WWE here, had to clarify.

 

aside from the questionable booking for the womens elimination match, i think survivor series was the most enjoyable for me. all the singles matches delivered for the most part, and the styles/lesnar match was great.

 

Jinder and Randy main eventing Smackdown for the entire years makes it hard to rank a Smackdown PPV very high.

 

Summerslam was already pretty good. Had some farts (Rusev losing in 10 seconds, Jinder beating Nakamura) but had a bunch of good matches too.

 

Summerslam bored me for the most part. Main event was really good, tag match and AJ/Owens were decent but that was it.

 

four good matches is a low standard, but compared to the rest of the PPVs this year...
