Wow sucks for the Oilers but both my teams won tonight so I can go to sleep in peace. I feel like Babs is going to have a lot to say about this one but we'll see.

Edit: It's a cheap win, man. I don't feel particularly good about it but I'll take the two points. The Stars played well tonight, against their own division, on the road, which has been nearly impossible for them this season, so I feel a lot better about that one. (Yellow laces strike again.) Anyway. Time to sleep instead of thinking about the Leafs third defensive pairing.

 

Edmonton and their shitty media deserves all of this. This is what they get for acting all smug and sanctimonious after lucking into one good season. Back to being the doormat of the NHL for another decade.

 

Ari’s death was a profoundly sad thing to have had happen but it really says a lot about the organization to make these jerseys and honor her memory this way. I like to think she would have loved them.

 

I feel bad for the Oilers right now just because all the backups they have stink.

 

Agree wholeheartedly. That's the main reason I've been following the Blues this year and last - seems like a stand-up organization.

 

Damn I remember all those Ari videos with Tarasenko and stuff. I guess she passed? That's so sad. Fuck cancer.

Random. Really seems like Edmonton has no clue what they're doing... how many players have they moved since summer? It feels like a lot.

this season has been a snooze for me.. Flyers are terrible..

 

Walker is a cool story. Left Australia to play hockey in the Czech Republic & went straight to the AHL at 19. Probably should still be there, though.
