Yeah imo it makes sense to talk about him here when stuff like this happens, he was their original singer and one that still a lot of people most closely associate with DGD.

 

I don’t think anyone’s saying not to talk about this, more just when it’s over not to bring up DBM(II) anymore. Just feels gross. But idk. I don’t want to police the forum. Everyone is free to do whatever. I just don’t want to talk about Jonny’s shit anymore.

 

I personally love Jonny's albums, and I don't feel guilty for listening to them cause they're art pieces that Jonny just happened to have a part in and there aren't any allegations dating back to that time.

That being said, I will respect your opinion here. If not discussing this album is preferrable and makes everyone feel better and builds a better community, I'll try and not talk about them.

 

You're out your goddamn mind if you think I'm not going to be talking about the funky grooves and insane lyrics and crazy guitar of Dbm2

 

I'll probably still listen to his old stuff from time to time, because I do still love old DGD and Emarosa and those records are more than just Jonny's contributions... However I have less than zero interest at this point in supporting his continued career or supporting him financially in any way.

 

I have never financially supported this band sorry to say lol. Emarosa either. The lyrics, the instrumentation, the arrangements, etc was all the bands. He was gifted with a great voice, got drunk in the studio a couple times and nailed it. He’s become a gross human being since then, with one too many chances given. I’m happy to see him go and happy with where DGD is now.

 

Really, anything I say can only be applied to me. While I (and I’m sure a few others) won’t really participate in JC conversations, you and everyone else who is still okay with listening to his work with the band are totally free to do so. Haha I don’t want to come off like, overly PC on this. I know those albums still mean a lot to people.

Ugh, randomly was wondering how JC was doing lately (not even a fan, but just know about his awful history) and its so sad shit just keeps piling up. I work in the addiction field. This guy is full flight from reality and hasnt felt a thing in most parts of the past decade. When hes tried to get clean i’m sure the shame and guilt of what he has not only done but how publicly it was covered in detail brings him back to drugs every time.

Does anyone know if he is doing decent now? Idk if there was a time frame on these rape allegations (not that it makes a difference) I just am surprised this dude ain’t dead yet if he is still runnin and gunnin like he used to.

 

One of them was from a girlfriend as recent as like a year and a half ago.

 

Ugh I just looked at his twitter. He acts like a dbag 15 year old still.

 

He is the biggest piece of shit. Haha I broke with him after he started attacking Bradley Walden (new Emarosa vocalist) on twitter, and sent his horde after him. Then this came out and I’ve actually just gotten rid of any music I have of his.
