Ohhh so whataboutism is a buzz word? I get it now.

 

I already regret participating because I'm going to be furious when Holiday From Real doesn't win it all.

 

Nobody (at least from what I can tell) is trying to use other instances of people taking advantage of their band's status as a way to diminish the atrocities that Jesse committed. If anything others were using it as a means to show that by continually allowing for other bands to get away with similar if less severe transgressions, its allowed this corruption to fester and spread until it gets to the point that people like Jesse could fly under the radar for years and years with no one either noticing or caring.

There seems to be a language disconnect between you and other posters on this site. Part of it is I think fueled by your own biases, warranted or not. Take a step back and observe the situation. The way this thread is acting as a whole is running in circles, and nothing seems to be gained or affecting anybody else's opinions.

At this point kill the thread.

That was nauseating to read through. I don't see ANYONE giving (or trying to give) Jesse a pass in any manner whatsoever.

Anybody else watch all of Crisis on Earth X? Man that was awesome. Better superhero team-up than Justice League.

 

It was good. Much better than last years crossover!

 

I hesitate to even call what they did last year a "crossover" haha. It was like, a Supergirl episode with a two-second teaser at the end, followed by a half-crossover/half-Flash episode, followed by what was basically just an Arrow clip show/100th episode celebration, followed by a half-Legends/half-crossover episode. This, this was what everyone wanted. So epic and awesome.

I want a continuous movie cut on Blu-ray.

I like to think of this place as a place with high standards. Not just because we get - or at least most, I hope - that what Lacey did is awful and abhorrent, but because we set the example of the rest of Brand New fans. Everytime we indulge about this stuff, we are giving people like the ones above ammo. I think it's important to acknowledge that. If you are alright with that, fine. I'm not. We disagree. We both agree that Lacey is a piece of shit. Constantly patting ourselves on the back about how harsher our morals are and backhanded comments like yours in my opinion just get Lacey supporters a diversion. If you think I'm wrong, that's okay. But if I can respect your opinion, I'm sure you can respect mine, can we agree on that?

 

Yea... last year failed on that front for sure.

I wonder how they will release this on their DVD sets. Technically major stuff for Arrow and Flash happened at the end of the Legends episode.

Yeah, I mean, it's definitely going to throw people who only watch one or two of the shows for a loop, especially if they don't watch Legends. Because even though this was its own thing with its own title card, they still called each individual part an episode of each show. If someone watches Flash and Arrow but not Legends, and didn't watch this crossover at all, they'd miss that. I suppose the CW was banking on people at least watching all four parts of this, because only watching parts 2 and 3 wouldn't make sense. In the future, though, yeah it's going to be weird when people are binging Flash season 4 and get to what was part 3 of a four-part story right in the middle of it. Maybe they put all four episodes into each physical media set and each season on Netflix? It's an odd situation for sure. Worth it, though.

Help me out here, is this a language barrier thing or you were so fast to pull the trigger on replying me how right these people are and sort of missed this part of one of their comments: "...it didn’t matter back then though cause there wasn’t any internet and allegations without solid proof wasn’t taken as gospel and the truth ". If this is a language barrier thing and I'm reading too much into this I apologize in advance.
