Haha, That’s just silly.

 

Ordered Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on a whim after enjoying what I played of the 3DS version of the first game. Combat looks kinda neat although verbose but the environments are what's really drawn me in. Super important to me in an RPG.

 

It's the mains strength of the series, though I like the MMO combat

 

I don't even care if it's clunky, I'm so here for Yooka Laylee. Hoping the patches make for a better experience than people had at initial launch.

 

I was waiting it for come to Switch but the timing isn't great, I'll probably wait until next year now

 

Yeah, I'll probably get it when Mario isn't so fresh in my mind.

 

I should have every moon by when it comes out anyways, be a nice cleanse before I delete my save and start again lol

 

It's definitely bad timing for Yooka Laylee to come on the heels of a generation-defining 3D platformer like Super Mario Odyssey. Gonna be hard to go back to such archaic gameplay.

When is the XC2 embargo lifting?

I just want to know if the story is good or not, I already know the combat is going to be fantastic.

I read XC1’s story a while ago. Pretty interesting read. I’ll probably play it one of these days.

I have no idea why this game keeps churning out trailers that show so little.

I get excited for nothing.

 

XC2 reviews are looking pretty, pretty, pretty good.

USGamer is my go-to site for RPGs because the two people that usually review them are bigger RPG die-hards than any other critics I know. They gave it a 4.5/5 by the way.

 

I am so damn ready.

 

btw since holiday is coming up I decided to add recommended switch games to help new owners out.

I noticed in the videogames thread some people were asking. I mean if it helps at least 1 or 2 people I’d say that’s a win. I’m planning to divide them by these categories, and then just add genres and if it’s an exclusive in a parenthesis:
- Single Player Games
- Couch/Local Multiplayer Games
- Online Multiplayer Games

The problem I see there is where to put games like MK8 where both online and couch shines. (Imo its better as a couch game tho)

If you have games you like to suggest or a better way to split them up let me know

 

Kind of regretting having to wait for Christmas now.
