Sexy Star tried to break Rosemary's arm a little while back. She's got a LONG history of shooting mid-match when something goes slightly against her. Yeah, that kick was stiff...she immediately no-sold it and started throwing shoot strikes before giving a stiff kick of her own.

Glad to hear, Otunga sucks at his job in WWE, but you can just tell he is a genuinely good person.

 

i'm still v excited for Broken Matt. it's the rare case of a character having no holes peeking in at the performer, he is Broken Matt 100% of the time he's on screen. there isn't enough of that. the booking may suck, but i have little doubt Matt will do as best as he can with it.

it's just hard to be excited for any men's debut on Raw because we know that the main event scene has no room and won't until at least Summerslam, so the trajectory of anyone new is neutered from the start

 

Even if I liked the gimmick, I don't know why you guys are so hopeful he'll have the free reign to do what he wants to do with the character. He's gonna end up as a comedic bray wyatt.

 

i don't think i've seen anyone suggest that to be the case. it will live and die by his ability to get over within the creative constraints, i just think he's much more likely to pull it off.

 

Some of the spots from Young Bucks/Lucha Bros/Richochet+Sydal were even nastier. Think they had a similar Destroyer/Reverse-Rana spot on the apron

 

come to think of it, has any worker been injured at a PWG show? never heard of an instance. gotta be that 130% humidity.

definitely, but since the Mount Rushmore era i haven't heard of anyone missing dates because of an injury @ PWG

 

I know someone got hurt towards the end of a triple threat...maybe at an early one this year? Got spiked on his head in the finishing sequence, wish I could remember who.

But considering the moves done there, the fact that nobody walks away hurt after every show is pretty amazing

Yeah, being the greatest workers in the world also means the safest and most precise in the world as well as far as execution. That's definitely something top guys don't get credit for.

 

Speaking of which. I'm one of the biggest anti bray guys out there and last night to me was the ultimate rock bottom. That was embarrassing.

 

Its painful to watch him anymore, because given the right motive (see after Elim Chamber), hes probably the best promo in the company, and the most interesting character to build around. That they managed to botch a Finn/Bray match-up is amazing to me.
