i think spring time is the best time to visit, not as busy as summer but it's still beautiful.

Gonna be in town this week and staying in Fremont/Ballard area. Already planning on going to Revel, Ballard/Fremont breweries, and maybe Walrus and Carpenter, but open to sightseeing recs/coffee/restaurants/breweries/bars if anyone has any.

Got super lucky yesterday with the weather. Ate and drank like a king as well.

Might try to hit the art museum or underground tour today.

The only hockey experience I've ever had is going to an Everett Silvertips game, and that was actually super fun.

I've only been to Seattle a few times and I was younger so not part of any itinerary decisions. I'm taking my lil sis to see Harry Styles in July at the Key Arena. Any recommended areas to stay or things to do? My sis is 18 so no alcohol shenanigans will be occurring. She loves coffee and I love clothes and shopping. We both love good food + I'm vegetarian but that's never much of an issue in the PNW! Any recs in those realms would be awesome!

Also is it easiest to uber or public transport or walk or whatever ? I used uber in tacoma to and from the venue and the experience was trash, tho I've never had a negative experience with it for shows in pdx or Spokane so idk

I mean there are stereotypical tourist stuff like the space needle and the emp museum (it changed names so idk what its called now but yeah), chihuly museum, pike place market....I think all of the above are worth checking out tbh. but I like tourist stuff so.

There's so much food food everywhere so like you said you won't have a problem finding good places! every meal I had was divine.

Also Kerry Park is the overlook that has the stereotypical view of the city, needle, mountain if it's out, and the water. To me it was breathtakingly beautiful and I recommend it but if that isn't your thing then it's not something you spend a lot of time on. I watched the sunset there and took tons of pictures so for me I was entertained but yeah.

also the troll under the bridge in Freemont is cute and was in 10 Things I Hate About You lol

also I used lyft the entire time there and found it affordable and easy. I did use the metro transit to and from the airport and I think that might be your best way to get to the arena but I'm not sure. I would say look into it at the least. They have a stop right by the arenas.

Lyfts and the bus and the light rail systems are amazing, the light rail takes you straight to the stadiums. Don't know if you care about baseball @Kiana but Mariners game are fun and cheap. Lots of good venues if you want to check out some shows or something.

If you go to the market go during the week and you should be fine. Don’t visit the first Starbucks but DO visit the Beechers next door because their Mac and cheese is fucking fantastic. If you wanna do something with Starbucks visit the Starbucks Reserve it’s like 2 stories tall and has good coffee. Otherwise, Slate coffee roasters is my favorite roaster and I think they have 3 locations. Try to go to the Ballard location.

Where is a good area to stay if you don't drive? From what I see the train is pretty limited, which is a bummer
