I could see this end up being one of my favorite bands

 

Waves is really solid. My Life Is Like a Chase Dream, The Cascade, and Full Circle are some of their best. Full Circle has a cool homage to This Will Destroy You.

dunno how people can rank the S/T so high above Pneuma. S/T is basically Pneuma but much more concise and poppier songwriting.

s/t is so much better than pneuma and i like pneuma a lot, far more concise and interesting musically, vocals are significantly better, love it

 

I like waves a lot. Don’t love pneuma as much as most.

ST is the clear best in my book.

 

Waves is so under appreciated.

 

Waves was the first album i've heard from them and got me hooked. I remember it: freshman year of college. it was a good year!

 

Waves is my favourite by far.

 

Got hooked on Moving Mountains and O’Brother my freshman year after seeing them open for Thrice. It was a good year indeed.

 

I too also got hooked on said bands after seeing them open for Thrice on this tour while also a college freshman lol

 

Their best album will never be agreed upon in this fanbase. Each album has their defenders and detractors, almost in equal measure.

Personally, Pneuma is their best album. Foreword is a really good EP. Waves and Self-Titled are mediocre. The split with Prawn is fantastic.

St is a top 5 record for me and ode is a top 2 song

 

Self Titled is their best album and Ode is their best song easy.

 

I think I honestly love everything this band has officially released. ST is my fav, but everything else has something to offer.

 

Ode is my favorite song and its words are written on my arm. I will always remember listening to it for the first time on my high school bed with good headphones staring at the ceiling

 

Each release brought something new into the mix and I personally like something about all of them. I'd really like them to continue to release music. EP's, splits, singles, doesn't matter. I get that being a full time band doesn't always work out, but these guys never really ran into a point where they felt repetitive or boring.

 

This is 100% correct with me

waves sucks and is to this day the most disappointing album I've ever heard

 

I still think The Cascade is their best song.
