Spigen make the BEST cases.

 

I'm going to have to try out a Spigen case. I bought an Incipio one at Walmart last minute because my other didn't arrive in time and I love this thing, but I keep hearing about the Spigen ones

 

Ordered a Spigen Thin Fit. I had something similar on my 6 and I liked it.

 

I had a Belkin Grip Case for my 6 and loved it. I'm guessing one of the Spigen thin cases would be the closest thing because apparently Belkin doesn't have any cases for the X?

 

I bought a Spigen Ultra Hybrid. I didn't want anything too big while still getting decent protection.

 

I just got my girlfriend a new iPad for $250 at Target. What a steal

 

Having an issue with mail fetch. Seems like every hour or so. No push notifications but my inbox will fill up a little. Have my yahoo linked to apple mail app. Currently using my phone on low power mode.

It’s also fetching the second I am connected to WiFi. Would prefer to just get the mail when I open the app

 

Picked up my X from the Apple store today. Some things to get used to, but this is a really nice phone.

 

I think I’m gonna forego the AirPods in favor of the Nolan collection in 4K.

It’s here and it’s beautiful.

 

I think my 7 is dead. It's been dropping service here and there for the past 2 weeks or so. Some days everything is fine, some days 2-3 times it drops to no service and I have to restart a time or two to fix it. This morning I woke to no service and haven't had anything all day. Bought a new sim and called ATT and tried that, but still nothing. Factory reset still nothing. I didn't buy AppleCare and I'm 1-2 months out of warrantee which blows.

If I end up getting a new phone, I'm not sure I want to go with the X. I feel like it's TOO much change. Kinda want to stick with the 8. IDK yet.

 

The X is incredible. I haven't gotten this much enjoyment out of a dumb computer thing since the first iPhone.

 

I got out of using my phone a bunch for a few months before the X, but here I am on it every second I can be again. This thing is still so damn cool.

My iPhone X delivery went from Nov 29 to Nov 28 and now it says Nov 30 and the UPS tracking hasn't updated since an "arrival scan" in ZhengZhou, China at 11:50 PM 3 days ago - anyone else have a similar experience?

 

Anyone know how to get notifications going to my Apple Watch after upgrading to the X? My phone is paired to the watch and and each app in the notifications is checked over to “on” but there is no vibration on the watch.

 

Did you pair again after upgrading?

 

I did. I am trying an unpair, reset, and repair now.

 

Fantastical question: For those of you who use this calendar app, do you use the reminders on the app, or turn them off? I use omnifocus and so I'm not sure it will be something I will use.

 

I turn them off.

For me:

Calendar = events. Overview of the week and specific times to be places.
Task manager = things to do.
Reminder app (I like Due) = Specific reminders, usually for short term things.

 

And Notes for everything else
