The Earth disc is messed up? I never played mine.

 

Watched Coco. It was ok

 

I kinda want to see it

 

The original Earth record had a manufacturing error (the grooves during The Earth Isn’t Humming were messed up pretty badly) so they had to send out replacements of just the one disk. It might not have been all of them, but a bunch of them had to be replaced. I ordered mine pretty late, so my set just came with the replacement Earth record included already.

 

It’s a really pretty movie. I wouldn’t advise against seeing it, it just felt...somewhat formulaic, but it was still a fine watch, just not anything new.

Also, it reminded me of how much of a hack fraud Mexican I am lol. I am so out of touch with both sides of my heritage. It’s pretty sad.

 

Damn, I literally had no idea about this.

 

Hmmmmm this sounds like what I got watching the trailers for it.

 

There were a few parts where I was like, “ok now this story beat is gonna happen” and then it would. But not cause it made sense and more cause that’s just how movies work and it felt pretty forced. But like, it was pleasant to watch, I just don’t need to see it again.

Yo @Erwin89, waddup with Zwarte Piet these days? Is his depiction still common orrrr like, how is it looked upon now in Holland? Cause last year I was looking through my grandmas old shit and I definitely found an old picture at a party of people in blackface which was pretty jarring

 

Dude how weird is the concept of zwarte piet!? I’ve been saying for years it’s racist AF. Thankfully it’s getting less normal every year, but the older generation doesn’t see anything wrong with it (which is why they should be eaten, dumb meat is the best meat). Most cities and brands are starting to phase it out tho, so that’s good.

 

Also i started on new ADHD meds just now, so if i say shit that’s weirder than usual, forgive me or i will eat you.
