Dude Ranch, Enema, or TOYPAJ in full would be so sick

That's a good point. If it was some sort of weekend trip or part of a getaway or whatever, I would absolutely do it. I just couldn't ever envision myself driving 6 hours to a show and then driving 6 hours home straight away. I get too restless in a car after a while to consider that lol

It would've been such a beautiful error. Too bad it didn't happen.

In a down and back scenario, 2-3 hours is about my breaking point. That radius would net me Detroit, Toledo, Pittsburgh, and Columbus. If a tour is really going to skip all of those places plus Cleveland, than it probably isn't that great of a tour to begin with haha. I may stretch for Cincinnati, but I would probably just get a hotel or stay with friends at that point. Hence a short weekend trip.

Absolutely. I went to a show outside of Detroit last year, drove from about an hour outside of Toronto, and it was pretty much a nightmare. About 4.5 hours each way plus the time spent crossing the border. I didn't want to do anything but sleep for like 48 hours afterwards haha

I took a 21 hour train ride both ways to get to a show before. I've also slept in the car.

Please elaborate. You can't just drop a casual 42 hour travel on a show and leave it at that haha

I get it, and i'm not necessarily saying i wish they'd change their mind, but it'd be killer to hear Adam's Song live again.

I took a day trip to LA from DC for the untitled anniversary shows.

    Flew out Monday morning
    Got to LA around noon
Waited all day and met Mark around back
    Went to sound check
    Went to the show
Hitched a ride with some cool kid I met who dropped me at the airport
12am flight, landed back in DC at 10am
Made it in time for class, but skipped that to sleep

    Best experience of my life.

It was to get to Chicago for the first round of Past Live Trio shows. When they first announced I wasn't sure if there were going to be any more and of course none of the dates were anywhere near me. Texas to chicago by train is 21 hours and it was cheaper than flying at the time. So it was that on top of the 5 day stay for the 4 night concert @ the metro.

The car situation was hitting up all the texas dates on 1 tour, which I've done 2 times now. For some reason instead of playing a straight line of shows they yo-yo'd from Dallas to Houston to Austin. It's a pain in the ass to find parking in downtown houston and the hotel that are close are too expensive, also it's like, a 6 hour drive from Dallas, so we drove, found an empty parking lot and slept there.

I've also flown to florida, denver and chicago multiple times now just to see Trio. I did all 4 nights of past live 3 times in 3 different states.

I've never met any of them, which is a little shocking, considering I spent years interviewing bands at shows for various publications. Met pretty much everyone else, of course, but never Mark, Tom, Travis, or Skiba.

    Someday!

I'm flying to another continent to see blink and I'm 26. Probably the first and last time I'm doing this.

I did this in 2009, i went from Uruguay to California to see blink :)
I posted about this in the tour thread.
    It was amazing.

I drove from Boston to Canada to see Blink.

  17. Most I've traveled for a non-festival show was the first The Early November reunion show, drove from Boston to Philly. At that time no one knew if they would end up doing a full tour or if it was a one-off thing. Of course they ended up touring like crazy in the past five years so I've seen them a bunch more times since then, but that first show was incredible.

That's so cool! I'm from Brazil. I almost did this in their untitled shows back in 2013. Purchased show tickets and plane tickets, but had to give up last minute. It was such a bummer.

I did the Boston to New Jersey drive to see Brian Fallon perform Horrible Crowes songs. Figure he might never do them again. Fast forward a few years and now it's all he plays.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I flew from Chicago to Los Angeles for two of the Untitled anniversary shows in 2013. That was the farthest I have traveled.

Last time I saw blink a friend and I won some backstage passes to go back to catering and watch an acoustic performance by taking back sunday, and I remember we were in the food line getting snacks and we look up and Mark is walking towards us and says "How's is going guys!?"....and I just kind of stood there and said... "Hey...." felt like such a fucking dork

I wish I had some cool story like some of you guys have travelling for shows. I've always wanted to see a show at Red Rocks, so maybe that can be my future cool story haha.
