I forgot that show existed. I'm not sure if I ever saw it either.

 

I used to buy one every time I went to Italy, then completed it on my last trip. Not sure why I never did it with trips to Spain, as I used to be able to speak Spanish for the most part and have been three times.

Every now and then I see a VHS I'd want and then remember we've not had a player for probably a decade at this point.

 

Thanks! Its been a really long year healing after the two operations. I don't know how I'm going to feel after this appointment. I'm sure I'll need a few drinks either way.

 

One of my close friends from college had a miscarriage about six months ago and she sent me an email the other day like "As mother's day approaches, I find myself crying every single day." From what you've said and what's she's said, it seems like very similar things have happened to both of you. I just hate it and the complications and all of it. Definitely have some wine and comfort food ready to go, either to celebrate or exhale.

 

I actually bought a used VCR for that reason, haha. I had my old one in my closet but it tried to eat my copy of Scream!

 

No decent seats for the Avengers at Kerasote. Fuck.

Might have to wait another week or shit.

 

I lost my baby a week before Mother's day last year. Lots of weird shit was going on inside of me that we didn't know about, so I feel like getting pregnant was a gift from God (or whoever is up there watching us). It seems crewel to give someone a child for only 7 weeks just so you can find out there is something worse going on inside, but that gift of life saved my life in many ways.

Even after a year it still hurts like hell but I have to look at it like I could have died if they didn't find what was going on inside of me. I wouldn't wish the loss of a child on anyone.

 

Hopefully my theater won't be too crowded. I'm going at 11 am tomorrow and I'm going to drink beer.

Seeing Civil War in 40 minutes. I love getting out of work at 3:00 and beating the crowds.

It's really good you've been able to learn all of this, heal, and find the healthy way to approach all of this with your body. Similarly, that friend discovered she had PCOS from the miscarriage and it also helped her approach her health and everything differently. Never doubt your strength, even when it's been this tough.

I'm going to a birthday party where we're supposed to go to one of those cook in front of you Japanese steakhouses, then bowling, then to see a late night Civil War showing tonight. I'm already exhausted.

 

My wife had a miscarriage like a month ago now right in the middle of teaching her fifth grade class, and I still find her crying sometimes randomly. It doesn't seem to get any easier as the days go by but I hope she can find peace as time passes. This post is weird in relation to my other dumb posts in here lol

 

I quit smoking after I was in the hospital for 8 days because they thought I might have cancer. Thankfully that wasn't it, I just had an infected abscess, but when the C word gets thrown around for a day or two, that changes everything. August will be a year that I quit.
