Chelsea wolfe album is her best and one of the best metal albums I've heard in a whiiiiiiiiile.

I still listen to them but I think many don't.

 

It's been years since I even thought of them, but for some reason I was reminded of Coasta today.

 

General talk and occasionally a mention of the band’s (lack of) activity. So basically what it’s been since it started

 

Had heard of but never listened to em until today and holy shit I’m loving his record

 

that was one of the best of last year

 

That EP was great. Surprised we never got any more music.

 

White Lung was one of my favorite discoveries last year

 

Yea, it really was a great EP. I wouldn't say I'm surprised we didn't get more music though. Didn't seem like making a career out of it was much of a priority for them. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just the impression I got.

 

I love so much that there's a lady fronting a metal band called 'Satan's Hallow.' That's my favorite thing I've learned today.

 

I’ve been discovering a lot of great music because of this thread.

 

I don't really know where to post this since there's no general "shitty sexism thread".

Went and saw Rvivr tonight which is a really fantastic female fronted punk band, during their set the singer asked if it was possible they could get more vocals in the monitors and the sound guy responded by telling a professional band that they were "singing into the mics wrong".

Later on Erica went into a speech about how shitty of a couple months it's been with the exposing of hurt that people have cause within the music scene and then started to cry as she went into her own experiences as a woman in the scene and being told that she was using a mic wrong after years of touring.

I was upfront so I couldn't really hear the mains but supposedly after she called him out the sound guy turned her mic down so she was bairly audible for the rest of the set
