    I will when I get home! :D

    Only $29.99. I can't skip on it.

I also want to buy Assassins Creed Syndicate for $19.99, but I'm not sure I can go back to a pre-Origins AC :p
Also want to buy Crash, but $29.99 is too steep for that imo.
Also want to buy Prey for $19.99.

    Anybody like Prey?

Syndicate is so good. I think the two games are different enough for it to not feel like a step back, if that make sense.

Tonight I'm gonna buy TEW2 for sure, then tomorrow, I have the day off. So I'm gonna round up my change (found a lot of change cleaning recently), and go to the store to buy two $20 cards to buy Gears 4 and Prey lol.

Nah even Giant Bomb gave Syndicate a 4/5 and summed up how I felt about it. These two parts in particular:

"Syndicate is good. Very good. Yes, it's running an overly familiar playbook, but those plays are among the very best this series has ever offered. In Syndicate, Assassin's Creed is reconstructed into something resembling its former glory--not a particularly new or inventive game, but a sturdily built, enjoyably written, generally well-paced refabrication of what this franchise was once best at delivering. And where it does tinker with the formula, it makes small, but meaningful improvements that turn Victorian London into one of the most exciting and exquisite worlds this series has ever put together."

"Syndicate also has some of the best-designed assassination missions anywhere in the series. These are the meat of Syndicate's campaign. Each target is a rung on the ladder to Starrick, and before you can tackle them, you'll have to perform a couple of set-up missions with each character. These set-up missions are rarely highlights--you mostly find yourself running errands and tracking targets--but they provide necessary context for why you're about to go kill whoever you're about to go kill. When it does finally come time to eliminate your target, you now have an added variety of ways to go about it. Each assassination comes with stealth, assistance, and unique kill opportunities. These are highlighted icons that appear within the environment, usually over some random NPC or hiding spot that you can engage with to more dramatically achieve your goal. These tasks aren't terribly hard to achieve in most cases, but they do require a bit more effort than the old ceiling drop of doom. It's essentially a light dusting of Hitman onto the existing assassination framework, but it's enough to make these tasks feel fresh."

Well I'm in the minority that liked the first a little bit more. The changes made for better gameplay, you have large open areas to explore to your hearts content, I almost had 30 hours on the game which is almost 3 time the first one, and survival horror works surprisingly well when it comes to that, since hunting down every piece of scrap is meaningful. They balance that right, thankfully, I usually felt like I was getting like a 10% return on things, since you have to use your ammo and whatnot if you want to find more. Personally though, I think horror works best when its more linear like the first game. There are still a lot of moments like that, but most of the gameplay is exploring as apposed to moving the story forward. It's an absolute blast to play, and I already miss playing it a lot.

BY THE WAY, I started playing Observer, Layers of Fear devs new game and it's pretty fucking sweet.

Animal Crossing is awesome. Feels like it's own experience, but almost a full game in there. Microtransactions aren't intrusive yet either. Can see this one sticking a bit more than Nintendo's other mobile games for me.

I liked Prey a lot, but I recognize that isn’t the view of a majority of gamers. It reviewed decently well but most people I see talking about it do so negatively.

I’ll probably pick up a Switch this weekend and the game to help out with this horrible story. Being a father myself, my heart breaks for him and all publishers should take notice of their example.

I think I lean towards your points as well regarding linear story and not as openworld. I'll put it on my list but it likely won't be that high up.

Ooooh, didn't know that was out! You'll have to tell me how it is after you finish.
