Finished season two. Enjoyed it for the most part. Not as much as season one, but still good. I really liked the Aliens feel with the demadogs at the lab. Steve might have been my favorite part. He had a really solid character arc from last season. Even the new mullet villain guy ended up having some depth to him. I did not care at all for the episode with Eleven's sister and her squad. I have a bad feeling that will be a big focus of season three though...

 

Finally started the second season today, watched the first two episodes. I immediately notice that it's a lot slower moving than the first was, which isn't a problem. I would definitely watch a show with just these characters living life without creepy shit happening

 

I just realized I own the same jacket(different color) as Steve Harrington wore in the later episodes so that was cool.

also season 2 was cool and I really want to learn everything about the upside down.

 

It'd be cool if a couple of the characters spend a lot of time exploring the Upside Down and learning about it next season. As much as the show is centered around it, we really haven't spent a lot of time in it.

Also, I really hope Will has some special abilities after all he's gone through. Much as I'd love to see him just be a kid, it'd be a shame if his character ends up taking a backseat next season.

 

I'm assuming his character is named after the fact he wears Harrington jackets all the time haha. Love them, got a couple myself.

That too. I'm thinking of season 1 Steve more, maybe?

I thought this season was pretty great.

I get the criticism for episode 7, especially since it breaks up the cliffhanger of 6 and the events of 8. But Lost did that shit all the time it seems. At least now you can binge the episodes.

I also don't think Billy added much. I don't think max needed him to help her backstory.

Would watch a steve Dustin buddy comedy or spinoff series.

 

Season 2 was great. I liked episode 7. Erica tops the best kid list.

 

Yeah I had negatives vibes from Steve first season, but I’m a fan now. Changed my opinion.

Finished yesterday. First season was definitely better but I loved this one too if we pretend 7 didn't happen. I seriously can't figure out why anyone thought that was a good idea, and in my mind I will just pretend that Eleven actually did get that outfit from the aunt lol.

I thought this season was noticeably funnier than the first, the part where Dustin said "son of a bitch you're no help at all" to Mike's dad killed me, as did Lucas jumping through the door and scaring the teacher. Also whoever thought of pairing Steve and the kids is a genius

 

Episode 7 felt out of place, but it was alright. I skipped it and then went back to it at the end and didn't feel like it was really that necessary.

 

I don't think so, cuz she made the choice to leave them because she found she considered her friends her family. Ya know?

 

Finally getting around to watching Stranger Things for the first time, season 1, and four episodes in and I'm absolutely hooked. Show is sooooo good; kid actors are fantastic. Acting overall is superb. Can't wait to watch the rest

 

Dropped a podcast on season two today. A ton of talk just about the characters, but there are definitely spoilers, too.
