James Blake, My Epic, Rooney on my "need to listen" list. Any other recommendations?

 

Keith Urban and Goo Goo Dolls are my main ones today. Hoping for some good summer tunes from these.

Not sure about other streaming services but the Keith Urban album on Spotify only contains the 3 singles already released, I guess they're holding off on the full record for a little bit which is a shame.

 

Small week this week. I'm checking out:

That Charlie Simpson b sides album is out today as well. Listening to it now.

 

I'll be checking out the new Aloha album. Their last one was great; super catchy. Also curious to hear the new Rooney.

 

James Blake, JMSN and My Epic are the main ones for me. Will check out RY X and the new COIN single too.

If you guys like post-rock, today's a release date for Polish best export band, Tides From Nebula, the album called "Safehaven" is for example on Spotify now, that's what I'm listening to right now and it's good!

today is the craziest release date i've seen in some time. james blake, white lung, anohni, luh, skepta, kaytranada...wacky, wacky day

 

Glad to see you know what TFN is :) ...for me today is not such a big day it seems, but I'll definitely queue new James Blake next, to check it out at least.

This weeks been crazy

If anyone's into tasteful electronic/dance music I really recommend that Tourist - U album. U by Tourist on iTunes

Also the new Death Grips is crazy good and somewhat accessible.

 

James Blake, Goo Goo Dolls, and Holy White Hounds. Definitely digging Holy White Hounds.

 

I really wasn't expecting much out of today/this week of releases, but between the sudden James Blake release, Radiohead's soon-to-be surprise release, and White Lung (who I hadn't heard before today), it's been a great NMF.

Julianna Barwick and ANOHNI were also pleasant listens. Need to give Rooney a listen too.

 

This came out last week, but the new The Other Stars album is worth a listen... getting a big old school The Ataris vibe from them. We Were Kids is the album.

 

Guys, Anohni is for real. Goddamn.
