I definitely need to rewatch it to make a solid answer as to why it was lacking. I just remember as I was watching I was bummed that there wasn't much heat to the match.

it definitely wasn't a barn-burner or anything but in contrast to the rest of the card it was a top three match imo. there were some cool little things, i remember everyone loving some of owens' heel stuff (believe it was the first time he pulled the "rope break with the tip of one finger" spot)

 

The Goldberg squash did this though. Jericho got his revenge in the best possible way already, and what logical reason did KO have for wanting the US title at that pooint. Hard for KO to go over in a big moment when Jericho had already won the feud without wrestling.

 

Im gonna be really sad if they dont allow Bryan and Miz to have a match eventually

 

someone editing the KO 365 has to be a wrestling mark since they showed both Adam's from What Culture counting 1-2 while showing highlights of KO/Jericho at WM.

 

If Daniel can ever wrestle again, it should be done as a surprise RR entry. The pop would be insane.

But a WM match between him and Miz would be incredible.

365 thing was pretty good. yeah, i dont recall owens/jericho being bad at all. At WORST, it was 'average', but i dont recall having that opinion though.

If the match under-delivered, maybe it was because that feud was built to be for the Universal title, and it ended up being an early match for a mid-card belt

 

Wish there was more detail in that 365.

I feel like getting your knees up to counter a top rope move is somewhat of an art form. Knees go up to early and it just makes the person on the top rope look silly. Knees go up too late and it just looks sloppy and confusing. Charlotte and Alexa timed this one perfectly.
